What is "perfect poker" I see people saying they played "perfect poker" all the time also "correct" poker
For me that 'perfect' poker and 'correct' poker aren't always the same thing. Because you don't know exactly what your opponent is holding, you're basing your decisions on incomplete information. You can usually come up with one (or more) 'correct' plays based on this incomplete information, but these may not always be the same as the perfect play.
"Perfect" is when you play right. When you feel the game. And when you're lucky like some russian donkey Sometimes I lose, but I watch replay after and ask myself "Have you played right or wrong?" And in 90% of cases I was wrong for different reasons (underrated opponent's hand, overrated my luck etc.) So perfect game is when you don't do mistakes. That's impossible but we should try to play perfect.

perfect poker is when you go all-in with 36o, then to you huge surprise ~1/2 tables calls holding aa's. kk's. qq's and similar crap... and you win with 4 of a kind 3's or 6's. multiply this ~10 times every evening and that's bout as perfect as it gets. wouldn't want to be on the receiving end though

I think perfect poker is when you are getting the correct odds to call a bet and even if you get unlucky and they hit the river, as long as you are getting the correct odds you are playing perfect poker, win or lose

Perfect poker to me is something different to what you guys before have offered.
Perfect poker to me would be sitting at stable of beautiful women (maybe, but not necessarily, with the Pochui obligatory big boobs) all beautifully dressed and us all being served to nibbles and drinks by equally as beautiful waitresses. Now isnt that just perfect poker? Who cares what cards you get!
If you keep winning all in coin flips keep hitting sets and 1st in chip stack at the bubble then probably that's perfect poker with all the luck is on your side and the good cards keep coming your way

There is no such thing as perfect poker or perfect game of poker for me. And the reasons are obvious i believe. You can say that you have played a good game whatever that is but perfect... Nope, not for any game, not just poker.

If you want to know about perfect poker you need to check it on google, type GTO poker it will tell you all have to play optimally if the other guy is playing optimally, it will gives rises to a no gain no loss situation but useless in my opinion as you do not have all the info just a little bit and you have to use your guts and experience to go down that huge river shove when based on experience you saw it as a bluff. Anyway good luck mate!

There are several forms of "correct poker", but only one of "perfect poker" per hand. Perfect poker is when you did the most optimal/profitable play in a specific hand. Correct poker is everything as long as it's profitable longterm. However, there are several possible plays per hand that are profitable, but only one specific one that is MOST profitable of course. For example you play a SNG and shove a hand preflop that is barely, but in a profitable, shoving range. Depending on who is behind you it might be more profitable to raise/fold the hand.

that's just sex in the making with poker just being an excuse for not starting the orgy right at the tables, in between the tables, on the tables or under the tables.

You stake me, you play me
Now there is an offer!
As for Pochui's comment about an excuse for sex, he always has to lower the tone of sensible conversations and introduce sex or something equally as classy. You wouldn't find me doing that in any way shape or form!!!!!

No, because good poker might be profitable poker, but isn't always the most profitable you can get.
------------ Maybe I should show it as an example:
Lets say you have a BvB situation in a SNG. Both of you have 12BB stack (doesn't really matter because effective stacksize always counts, but w/e).
If you do (what would be the ABC-play) just shove for example J4o, assuming SB calls a 20% range, you have a gain of 36 chips longterm doing this play. However, if you play minraise/fold in this specific spot, vs. the same range, you have a gain of 90 chips per time you do this play.
Thus, the latter would be the perfect play, while the first play would be just correct play.
