speaking of which, makes you wonder how much $ is there sitting in non active accounts... its gotta be millions, at least
what happens to that money, does it just sit there ... forever? its not like someone who hasnt played for, lets say 2 years, all out of sudden will remember 'hey i have $40 on stars' i know i totally forgot about my $ on pkr and its been just a few months since i havent played there. but at least pkr is nice enough to mail you with 'you have money left on your account' though, which does help a bit

Hey apple,I think most firms tend to drain the inactive accounts for 'administration charges' after a year or so,depending on their terms and conditions but I expect that would make a tidy amount when added up.

That's very nice from pokerstars. Probably you have to be a player that generates a lot of rake ( income) for them to notice you and try to get you back at the tables. Really, between all those thousands of players there, for they to bother to give you some cash to bring you back, you must be doing something good.. for them at least lol.
Would be nice to get such an email but by the volume of games that i played i kinda doubt it. Besides I'm so close to get another $10 reward ( 20 fpp away or so ) that even if they missed me, they wud probably wait for my deposit when i decide to go back and try to collect it

Yeah also never got an offer like this from them, have about 150,000 VPPs earned lifetime so I don't think rake is a requirement to get this, it's probably just pure luck..

Intersting point about inactive accounts. I do know that Party poker levee a fee as administration costs on inactive accounts so before long they will recoup all of the money in your account and you will be left with nothing!

It seems to be a good practice to play for a while on a certain room and then change and wait for their contact with a good offer to make us come back. I have, like many mobsters, acount in several poker rooms, but i don't use to play in all of them at once, usually i do it in one or two. But i also notice there are some where i am always playing, perhaps that's why i don't get that kind of emails from them.

Yeah pokerstars the best site ever and is currently number one and thus they can afford not to give bonuses to good players as they are already popular and the regulars will keep playing at pokerstars as their bonus structure is good. Never received any bonus from pokerstars for inactivity too and most of the bonuses i received are from full tilt, same company and all. Anyway good luck mate, have fun with the 10 dollars lol
