So i decide to deposit on pokerstars 20euro.I had some months to deposit there,i play in other site. And I was playing a 6-max 8.80$ tournament and a 6-max cash game 0.05/0.10 blinds. In 30 minutes my bankroll was 0.And why? Becouse of bad beats ofcourse. In the begginin 77 was beated from A2of hitting the A (all in pre). Then 10 minutes minutes later had AA and beated from A6of hitting trips 6 (all in pre). And the cash game i had 10 10 with a board 9c 6s 3d rainbow.I bet i on flop 2/3 of the pot,the opponent call and the turn shows a 2s,i bet again 2/3 of the pot and he calls again.the river was a 3s. So i was loosing only with a set or overpair.And i decide to shove.The opponent instant call me and shows me KsJs makes the flush. So i don't know how things are changed in online poker or i played bad on those hands but things like this makes me wondering.Is all this statisticaly right?Loosing so quickly and so often in short time with the best hand?

Hi You deposit 20 euros and start to play 8.8 dollars tournament? And 5/10c table, with buyin 10 dollars . Basically you did take ALL you current bankroll to tables and lost. Why i am not surprised. It is called bad BR management. Im sorry to say that, but i have made same mistake, thats why im sure.
And you cant do any statistic about 1 play session. Variance is high in poker, you know. With 20 euros starting BR, you could play 50 c SnGs and 1/2 c cashtable. About your bad or not play - who cares with so small bankroll and high stakes. One bad beat and youre out. Allin 77 preflop - what did you expect. AA vs A6 bad beat 1010 - what did you thin he has, that he called 2 barrels in a row. I would of think atleast QQ, but more like set

I don't know what your poker life has been but the game can be very brutal though what you explained in your post seems pretty standard these days.Good players are very savvy and very aggressive these days.If he was calling after flop and on turn with nothing he was always going to call with 2 overcards and a flush draw. You said you have played on another site but your examples of "badbeats" are what most players see all the time.Maybe you should play 50 or100 SnG-10c buy in and I bet you will see more brutal badbeats than you have described. TT v JKs is basically a flip and it could have been worse,it might not have been suited and we all know players love jack king off....... Good luck when you get back to the tables.

First of all welcome to the forums, we are a good bunch and i am a losing player who knows some theory but do not apply it all the time, because i tilt like a crazy monkey, my advice after several busted bankrolls is to have a strict bankroll management. Also to work hard and do not look for the short term but in the long term where you had the bacis mastered you will make money automatically. You started a bit high but you probably have enough experiences to know what your doing. I put it down to the dodgy site and believe you me pokerstars is the dodgiest of them all. people think I'm wrong but every one is entitled to there own opinion. look at this way what do you get off PS nothing. their site is the hardest to even get points or rewards and the millions they make a day. What free rolls do they give there clients. None unless you gain points that are unable to achieve if you've got a small bankroll to start off. So stick to smaller sites and build your Bankroll.

I do not know what poker experience do you have as background but if i take your story as it is that you deposited 20 and you played a 8.8 mtt and NL10 cash and you go busto you did not respect brm at all.
On cash you have played NL2 and 50c SNG. As a statistic the number of hands you played there is irrelevant.

Hello guys. I know about BR management and i know when to play "higher" limits and i do this when my BR was 500-600$ and played 0.25/0.50$ or 0.50/1$ cash. From my opinion i just want to build my BR a little fast and not to try from low stakes.Its just that when i stoped PS, i stoped for this reason,that the bad beats was very often in short time.
Anyhow,the thing is that bad beats are very brutal and often on PS than another platform like 770 or winner.It's not about BR management its about the platform i would like to discoust

If you think you will play better or have different results in another site then make the change. Be careful not to chosse one that you will be unsure if you are gonna get the cash out at the end of it. Many are talking here about the 888poker. Perhaps you want to give it a try.

Hey buddy i am thinking the same , as i have played most of the famous platforms and not so famous , they have been so much , but in no one of them , i have felt like in PS , as i am doing something like you are , just keeping it low mostly trying to have a wider range of luck ... 20 Euros as well depositing .. But as much i play I understand , that PS is not normal , as i have played for real just for fun and for some cash , and i haven't felt like in playing online on PS ...
As well i have made a topic something like you have , where i do cry about PS as a bad beat platform ... So yeah i will simply agree to you as I think the same ... Just i am not willing to play on any other , as PS is so famous ...

hi, I think you should look for the place where you feel more comfortable if PS does not seem like a good poker room try others, but if you do not respect the BRM the result will be the same

Hello guys. I cashout from BRM about 130$. So i sayed maybe it was not my best perfomance last time that i played. AND NO,was not that. I deposited in pokerstars those money. BE CAREFUL in pokerstars,they will destroy your bankroll with unbelievable bad beats,unreal bad beats. My opinion don't EVER EVER deposit again in that platform. Is hard to believe that in seven hands in the row lost with the best hand.
AA VS 88 preflop allin cash game 0.10/0.25$ hits the 8. Three hands laters. KK vs KQ off clubs preflop allin cash game 0.10/0.25$ HIT the nuts in flop. And last hand don't even say all the hands that i have away the best hand. AK vs A7 with action cash game 0.10/0.25$. Board K77 8 4 allin in flop he had A7.
