2014 WSOP Main Event: 27 Players Remain; Martin Jacobson Leads!

Day 6 of the 2014 World Series of Poker Main Event began with 79 players, but after 11 hours of play only 27 remained. Swedish poker pro Martin Jacobson (perhaps best known for winning the 2014 EPT Vienna Main Event) will lead the remaining players into Day 7 with a stack of 22,335,000 - about 5.7 million more than Luis Velador (USA) in second place. What happened to Phil Ivey? Last update we had, he was going well and i was really hoping that this would be his year but it looks like that he has busted out. Good luck to all those left in

I also remember the post about Martin when he won the Vienna Main Event this year.

It would be awesome if he could take both these events this year. His chips advantage is pretty significant too in this stage of the game.

too bad theres no big names left. Okay theres still smith, newhouse etc. But i'd really want some "pokerstars" to final table the main event.
