A tricky spot. Opponents bet is so high, and the remaining stacks so low in comparison, that whatever we do, it is bad.
I guess a call is the least preferable option. We are out of popsition and have a hand that plays very badly, if we miss the flop. And it is 4 more BB to play.

Either fold or reraise allin preflop.
I think calling preflop is a bad move here. I mean you put aroun 25% of your chips in the middle of the table to call, take in consideration you hit trips less than 5% of the times, you are also out of position.
What's your strategy if you didn't hit trips?
Check/fold to the likely oppo continuation bet (wasting 25% of your stack)? You bet first? And what if get called or raised?
By calling you get caught in a bads situation: fortunately you hit your 4 but consider what if you didn't.

In line with the above posters I would say shove or fold also.
Personally, considering the stack sizes and the bet the opponent here made pre-flop, I would fold this hand. You really don't want to see a flop in this position and if you shove ull probably get called since the guy already shown he has a big hand with that bet.
If the opponent is tight fold definitely , if hes loose , do you really want to risk your tourney with a small pair?
Anyway, you called and hit trips, unfortunately there's also a flush and straight draw there. Again, personally, ( I'm sure there's a lot of different opinions here and some might come to show me how wrong I am ) I would check/fold this hand.

I'd have to disagree with the above posters... For me, it has to be a fold.
The queens guy was pot committed with his bet - there was no way he was going to fold preflop.. and you had a big enough chip stack not to risk it all on pocket 4s.
By calling a quarter of your stack in the hope of hitting a 4 (roughly 11% chance) you were putting your tournament life in danger.
.....After you had made the call though, I would've open shoved on that flop.

yeah, maybe a shove is too forced move but he has the same stack of original poster (so not really pot committed) and, even if bet size in unusual,opening from CO may be a steal.
On these PS privilege free-rolls everything should be push or fold until you get ITM. There is no reward here to try to beat your opponents post-flop. Cuz it's a silly tourey with a truckload of participants, there isn't anything to overthink there. So you only have to decide on what range would you start 2 push.

If you using stats mate, do not use too much at the same time as this could make information overload and you could be just hindering yourself from playing properly, my advice is to get less stats and only add more stats when you are more familiar with them and get enough time to think about those stats and do not play a lot of hands. But you already on the right tack if you using stats. Anyway good luck mate at the tables hope you win some cash!

Fold preflop. As we have no informations on the villain, we shouldn't be considering to have much fold equity and should treat the raise like a shove. Considering it as a shove this is a fold.
