Lucky Supernova on the river  -1
Hello,
Played a $0.55, 500 CAP. 27 / 276, i was 3rd. Player 9 ( Supernova ) gets lucky on river with the only card he could win that hand. Anything else would get he out.

Now i got out on 22th Aww crap!

Here is the hand: What were the odds?

Have a nice day / night and GL.

First in my opinion K 9 is not a hand to raise UTG you did and got reraised on the flop you called a bet with an under pair and got lucky to it a trip on the turn the other one had an uo and down straight draw on te flop he chaised and it on the river with an approximately 9% odds.
My lay would have been cal pre flop and fold on the big raise and still be in the game for a better hand.
Question Question Question Question Question

Yes he got very lucky at the end as you did yourself till river.
You raised you such a hand and then called a big reraise. and then you kept going
with a 9 Smile I would have folded on the reraise preflop.
I have seen others even going all in to a reraise with hands like yours,
always making me wonder what they are thinking Smile

Never considered K9 a good hand. Ho come the flop as yours anyway?
You are saying this after the showdown? Smile You had the lowest possible pair in a straight draw
flop and it was yours? Smile I think im missing something here.

You were not inspired to play K9 in that spot and the events started rolling from there on...

Well, mistakes happen from time to time, the important part is to understand them and make the necessary corrections to avoid future ones Blink

I love how after people point out the obviously badly played hand he defends himself Aww crap! apparently anyone who read his post is wrong lol. your play on the turn was fine no one is saying once you had the set you played bad. the flop play could be argued either way some would play some fold but it was the pre flop play that was god awful buddy. Thumbs Up better luck next game mate Agree

I guess you risked a bit too much. You know he had a strong hand, you had the shortest pair of the table, and only a pair, which wasn't big deal. Ok, you were on an inside straight draw, but with only one card in the hand for that combination, no noe plays for that. The turn bulled you, and you let yourself go after that ilusion. His odds aren't that great, but you must admit you made a wrong bet.

Raising K9 on EP and not even suited. You deserved to lose.

You know that " I tought he had AK, AQ. So i have the advantage on that flop, on turn, with another 9. Couldnt fold that. On pre-flop, his re-raise wasnt so big to shake me off."

Gathering big pots from UTG with K9o is always just one brave player away Blink

Still a stupid thing to do with a lot of people still behind him though imo.

U know that I agreed with you above, right?
It's just not easy being ironic if you are trying to do it in text (or subtext).

I blame being half asleep while ready it last night. Big Smile

So as not to fall into such a situation, it was necessary to fold before the flop, because K9 is not a very good hand
