Hello, Played a $0.55, 500 CAP. 27 / 276, i was 3rd. Player 9 ( Supernova ) gets lucky on river with the only card he could win that hand. Anything else would get he out.

First in my opinion K 9 is not a hand to raise UTG you did and got reraised on the flop you called a bet with an under pair and got lucky to it a trip on the turn the other one had an uo and down straight draw on te flop he chaised and it on the river with an approximately 9% odds. My lay would have been cal pre flop and fold on the big raise and still be in the game for a better hand.

Yes he got very lucky at the end as you did yourself till river. You raised you such a hand and then called a big reraise. and then you kept going with a 9 I would have folded on the reraise preflop. I have seen others even going all in to a reraise with hands like yours, always making me wonder what they are thinking

Well, it is a good hand K 9. at that stake and blinds it was a good call. and the flop was for me. I tought he had AK, AQ. So i have the advantage on that flop, on turn, with another 9. Couldnt fold that. On pre-flop, his re-raise wasnt so big to shake me off. I had to call only 3 BB. with that big stake... and we were only 2 in the pot. If 1 or more would have called, even my raise before he re-raised, i would have folded.

Never considered K9 a good hand. Ho come the flop as yours anyway? You are saying this after the showdown? You had the lowest possible pair in a straight draw flop and it was yours? I think im missing something here.

I love how after people point out the obviously badly played hand he defends himself apparently anyone who read his post is wrong lol. your play on the turn was fine no one is saying once you had the set you played bad. the flop play could be argued either way some would play some fold but it was the pre flop play that was god awful buddy. better luck next game mate

I guess you risked a bit too much. You know he had a strong hand, you had the shortest pair of the table, and only a pair, which wasn't big deal. Ok, you were on an inside straight draw, but with only one card in the hand for that combination, no noe plays for that. The turn bulled you, and you let yourself go after that ilusion. His odds aren't that great, but you must admit you made a wrong bet.

You know that " I tought he had AK, AQ. So i have the advantage on that flop, on turn, with another 9. Couldnt fold that. On pre-flop, his re-raise wasnt so big to shake me off."
Gathering big pots from UTG with K9o is always just one brave player away
