Viktor Blom Wins $660k In Two Days!   0
That this is even mentioned shows how much the highest cash games have changed in recent years. At the hight of the cash game madness a few years ago, $660k would have been considered small change.

well i think the real high stakes poker games are now taking place at pokerstars or any other online poker room, but somewhere in mortar and bricks casinos in private rooms where there is no tracking no public eyes etc.
congrats to blom anyways, 600K is a nice lump for a days work- i'm sure he's reading this forum

Cheers it has been a while since we heard about Victor Blom and now it changes he got on a good run and i'm sure we will hear more from him in the coming weeks as it has been too long since we heard about his exploits. About Blom, he plays heads up and do not use software and huds as far as i know, maybe tracking yes, no idea, and he is going up and up and just some 500k before he is back in the green and i think he will surely achieved it by the end of the season. Good luck to him!

Dan Bilzerian made an appearance on the Howard Stern Show.
Billed as high stakes poker player and Instagram legend, Bilzerian spoke at length about how he made the majority of his money by playing poker.
Seemingly forgetting to mention that he comes from a wealthy family, Bilzerian explained that he plies his trade as a poker player and has won $50 million in the last 12 months.

Considering he plays with real money as I do with play money it's not such a great thing Tongue
Wonder how many times he would beat me if we joined the same "play for fun table" haha

Seriously now, I dont like his game style ( even thou it's sometimes very profitable) but I do envy his approach towards money. Must be very liberating to play pots of 50k+ with no worry on your mind thinking you might lose the hand..

*plot twist*

bloom loses 880kin 1 day.

and so on ... im not even sure hes making any money on 'normal' play because its mostly rollercoaster for him Tongue but im sure he makes tons on rakeback deals and other sponsorship stuff already so he doesnt have to be that profitable afterall.

win some, lose some......but in his case win big lose big.....show must go on

As some of my old friends on here know I have lost a lot more than 880k in one day and to say I have suffered a nose-bleed is absolute rubbish - the answer to that is "Don't tell the wife" - GL to you all, and lets hope all the variance is in your favour

These guys do not care about the money so why play for such huge amounts? They always say it's not the money so they should just play lower stakes and they will never go broke.

Looks like Bloom have a lot of new friends to find on his favourite social network, the high stakes poker tables. If the activity is being high lately, he just have to find a nice place to sit and keep going with the good job of the last days. I don't care about other's results, but i like to know when he's winning!

Does Victor Blom actually make a profit overall?Every time I have seen him play on TV he has not played very well but I don't really see enough to know if he is just plain old crazy or crazy like a fox.
When I see headlines it is usually victor loses big,or wins big and then loses it all again. He must be doing something right or he would not have millions of dollars to lose.If he has not got millions of dollars to lose he is going to have some very annoyed backers.
Whatever he does though it must be nice to open up your poker account and see a balance of $1,000,000. Smile

klash... I would say he is a profitable player overall... but not by much. His money is made from advertising and rake... And playing like a crazy fool AND MAKING SURE EVERYONE KNOWS he is playing like a crazy fool (who do you think is leaking these "Blom wins... Blom loses..." stories?) makes him get more in FPP rewards, and ups his advertisability (if that's a real word).

Years ago.. there were poker players and celebrities...

Then some poker players became celebrities...

Then some celebrities became poker players...

Viktor Blom is a new thing entirely - He makes money at the poker tables by acting like a celebrity.

^^ yea pretty much this. only thing i would somewhat disagree with is bloom being the only one doing so. Theres certain dane who isnt all that profitable really, but is still in the business and playin (losing?) tons of money on daily basis so its kinda like blooms situation Blink

Always a roller coaster with him Worship Worship Worship
Win big amounts sometimes then the tide turns and loses a lot Aww crap! Aww crap! Aww crap!
Still a great player with a big bankroll to back him so he takes lots of risks that the "normal"can´t afford Angry Angry
But I like him Big Smile Big Smile

Incredibly great amount for normal people. They play for extremly high pots and win or lose so much. We hope not use the money of other depositor players this time like before.
But congrats anyway. Every pro and semi pro poker players want to do this just like that.
