Really weird hand  0
(Don't know how to put direct hand history so here's a recap) NLHE 5c/10c
Dealt QdJd on the button, limp for 10c, one limper behind me. BB raises to 60c, I call as I'm on the button, he is pretty weak preflop and shut up I really like QJ.
Flop comes 2h9cQh, and he leads for $1, and i SNAP call.
Turn comes the 5c, and he pots it.
I tank fold.

My logic for the hand was, I had been raising constantly, never limping, except for this hand. He is a solid player who definately knows this and would take this in to account. He will also be out of position, so I put him on a huge pair, possibly AK or even AQ (preflop).

When he bets somewhat large on the flop, I can't really eliminate much from his range, in hindsight a raise might have ended the hand there, or I could have known where I stood. I was fairly deep with 150 BB, so losing 25 is meh at that time.

I can pretty safely exclude all low pairs, and a few KQ suiteds. I'm leaning more toward AK.

When he pots it on a blank, it really seems like he doesn't want a call, but I don't believe him. We haven't played long, so in reality he could be doing this with 72o, even 2's. I put him on AA or KK, no way he's scaring me off with QQ there, and I don't think he was capable of playing AKc or h that aggressively.

Just want to know if my logic is somewhere even near right, and what would you have done? The only thing that would involve as a continuation would be to shove right there, I think he would have continued on the river, making it nearly impossible to call/jam unless the river is a Q (ruling out QQ).

Opinions please?

The logic behind your BTN-Limp doesn't really make much sense to me.
If the BB would have checked and you would have flopped a big hand the pot would've been much smaller and you'd have a hard time to get proper value out of the hand.

If you put him on that strong of a range (normally he should be wider) you should've gone away from the hand after his 6BB raise.

As played I would've acted the same as you postflop.

I had recently won a huge pot off of him and he'd re-raised me out of a couple of pots, I figured JQd was good enough to defend in position. I was probably wrong, but considering someone had already limped in front of me I was pretty confident I could see a cheap flop. I would of 100% opened if the pot wasnt already limped.

Hmm mate i think you are over thinking too much and ends up second guessing yourself and make you do stupid move that you should have avoided if you were not over thinking , i think it is called levelling yourself. So stick with the basis, like bet bet and fold when got raise at the micros and play good hands and call instead of going ballistic just because you think he has a weak hands and is bluffing, you need to also have a solid mind game and playing TAG will help you, good luck mate have fun at the tables!
