I have been in such a position losing like that with aces, but i have to admit,
i cant even imagine how he felt after this one. Cause there is a big difference in the money
involved between the game i had and this one. Actually huge difference lol

Haha yeah and we complain when this happens to us when we push our measly 2 dollars into the pot lol. And here he loses one which is worth like a lot and so sad for him to go that way, but it will make a nice story for him to tell his children later on or even grand kids as this makes a hell of a party talks lol. Cheers mate hope he bounce back from it and he sure hoped he never played the tournament bad way to go out but also good way to stay in the game, a close shave and this is why poker is so fun lol. Anyway have a nice day guys!!

The AA vs AA, while obviously a sick beat, is far from being an "incredible bad beat" as described on the video. It shows you the odds when the cards are flipped - 2% to each of them and 96% the split. That means that every 25 times AA gets in vs AA, someone's gonna lose....

The buy-in of the tourney is the only thing that makes it "incredible"... but for anyone playing in a Million dollar buy-in tourney... I'm sure they can afford to lose.

So horrible to lose a Million on that fashion. I would probably end it all after that type of beat and never play a game again. Of course i would be dead if i lost that much like that.

Sorry dude from 5% to bust ouch.

I've seen poker authors say that pocket aces more or less play themselves because they're such a strong hand. But all hands could stand up to some discussion and thought, and even though AA is going to only come up 1 time out of every 221 hands, it's still worth talking about. I'll present some varying opinions about how to play AA below.

Yea but even the guy that won it had a sick look on his face but not disappointed......I tend to always feel sorry for the guy unless he deserves it when this has happened to me, I have been on both sides of the fence on these.

hi, I completely agree with the narrator of espn, that's the worst badbeat I've ever seen and a million dollars at stake is not sleep for several nights

thanks for letting me be part of this community and please excuse my English and my writing errors

Greetings greatgamne

The worst i have seen is the one with the four aces losing from a royal flush.
I dont think you can beat this one Smile No matter what the game is or at what stakes.
It is a hand you will always remember. Now imagine being the one that lost it Smile

yeah I remember that where Justin Phillips got there on the river while his opponent hit quad Aces, that's the worst beat that you can possibly get next to a straight flush of course.

Just sick
