Trying to win a weekly round ticket ? Those tourneys are the easiest ones to beat. Especially when the game is a bit rare. I remember winning a weekly round ticket from 5-card draw freeroll when it was my second time playing the game Good luck take it down !

Posted by Macubaas: Good for you mate, i only play PLO and rarely NLH but you are right, very few master this game so thats definately in your advantage
You could also play paid tournaments or cash if the competition is so weak, you can boost your profit nicely
Easier said than done. I don't think stars offers any real money badugi tournaments. There is daily 8-game and stud tournaments and those only get +-40 people. So i don't think it would be very succesfull. I don't know how good people are on the cash games tho

yeah those stars freerolls which offer "exotic" poker forms are really fun to play and once you know the rules- really juicy, just a pity that they don't have cash prizes, tickets are tickets, but in the second round there are way less idiots and suddenly game becomes a lot tougher. still if you wait enough and play a rare poker form in the 2nd round- you can expect to earn some

Yeah.. I think a little too much work for a ticket. And if you get to the second round and win or lose.. It all starts again

Well its not that much work, I placed 34th last night in my 2nd ever badugi tournament for a ticket and won one....I have 2 tickets now and will continue to get more....to me its worth it unless someone helps me out with a bankroll but this is my way of starting from nothing again. I am not working so unable to put my own money in and I am learning alot and playing more cautious and I find myself doing rather well again....
When I do have money Ill be more cautious.
------------ Badugi tournament in about an hour..... Pokerstars, who is in????

Ok, well good luck sir. If you are trying to start from scratch you should play the 100k freerolls. Its fairly easy to win 0.30$ or so. If you're chromestar

From what I understand Badugi and other forms of this poker are quite popular in Vegas, when it comes to live cash and like you mention most people do not play well when it comes to this game much like 5 card or stud where people who know the game easily profit of newbs
