Being a WSOP World Champion can open up a lot of doors and last weekend Ryan Riess found himself walking into the media spotlight for a charity basketball game.
Having achieved celebrity status after his 2013 WSOP Main Event win, Riess has enjoyed a number of perks and the latest saw him shooting hoops alongside the likes of Christopher 'McLovin' Mintz-Plasse (of SuperBad fame), NFL player Terrell Owens and Hunger Games Star, Josh Hutcherson.
Organised by Hutcherson, the aim of the game was to raise money for his charity, Straight But Not Narrow, which educates young people about homosexual relationships.
According to the post-match report, Riess's team won 78-55, but quite how many points the poker pro scored is unclear.
