Its a nice story the guy that came second Colman..(last year ept winner)
He learned from the guy that came first today.

They mett eachother when the guy played headsup games online...
Colman always watch these headsup and a lot off the times he said what his hands were,
And he had it good numeous times....
After that the guy playing heads up send him a private chat...

I watched a lot of the final table... The best player didn't win. That was Daniel Colman, who played great poker throughout, but congrats to Olivier anyway. Everyone needs luck from time to time.

I'm just glad the loud mouth gobshite from Norway didn't win (or even make the final table). People may think that kind of play is good for the game, but in reality he was disrespectful, rude and obnoxious.

The game needs less people like that.

Congratulations to Olivier Busquet on winning the tournament but what a crazy hand to survive on. He had to hit runner runner aces or runner runner eights and did, we all need a bit of luck no matter how good a player

In a previous news thread about this tourney I tipped Colman to win and he was probably the better player.Colman is playing exceptional poker this year and has won around $20 million since April.
Busquet has been around quite a while now,I remember watching him win a WPT about 4 years ago and he seems to always play and do well in the high roller events,in this tournament it seems he was very lucky but he has won millions and is obviously a very good player.

I'll admit I hadn't heard of Colman before this event - I don't pay too much attention to the Live scene just lately... but he has very quickly become one of my fave players.

This guy is a MACHINE... He made $500k profits in 10 weeks playing only HU Hypers, and over $1m profit for the year (due to not having much time to play!!!)

His win rate of ~52% throughout that year is actually lower than my Hyper HU win rate of ~53%... so it's a very intriguing idea to hit these as hard as I can....

Might give it a go.

Remember you will need to have 300 BB
Hypers are pretty tough and iff you not exactly know when to play push and fold,
And with what hands You can have huge downswings so thats why you need atleast 300 buy-ins for the hyper buy-in you wanna play.

Ya,...he's an online heads up specialist who switched over to high stakes live tourney play a few years back...! He was all over them various poker tourney TV shows for quite a while...

On one show,...they showed a plainclosed hotel security guy escort Olivier down to the tables from his hotel room carrying a wad of about $150,000 in cash...! Dollar Dollar Dollar

...just a little spare change laying around I guess....

Confused Dollar Big Smile
