So it's been a long time since I attempted any of my interesting, but ultimately pointless, self-imposed poker challenges... So methinks it's time for another one
So next weekend.... It's on!
After a little messing around with the PokerStars filters I am now looking at a list of Non-Hyper, Non-Rebuy, Non-satellite, No Limit Hold'em tournies all under $5 buy in. In the 24 hour period from Midday Saturday to Midday Sunday there are around 150 tournaments matching those criteria. I reckon the average buy in of those is going to be around $2....
My challenge?
....To play them all. And turn a profit. And hopefully not die. (the last one is optional - I won't fail the challenge if I do)
Obviously, I will have to play a lot longer than 24 hours - I will be buying into one or more exactly 24 hours in, then playing all remaining tournies to a finish... so it could go on for 30 hours or more...
I'll be doing this next Saturday/Sunday... and will be going on UK time....

hope u find time to keep a diary, will be interesting
Thinking that I'll record it all, then spend a couple of days editing it down to an hour long video (maybe someone with editing know-how will tell me not to bother)... It's not the first time I've done something like this... In the past I've played every $0.10 360 man turbo SNG in a 24 hour period (350+ tournies with a ~$20 profit if memory serves...) and 24 hours of 4 Zoom tables (30000+ hands, 10 minute breaks every 3 hours, ~$40 profit)... so seemed the MTTs were the next logical step.

Wish me luck! I'm sure I'll need it
This sounds interesting, I've been thinking of trying something similar to really test my endurance and skill. I might be waiting for you report before I try it. Please keep us posted then.

kinda but youd need a semi decent computer and a solid internet connection with about 20mbps upload at least, if u don't livesteam just download hypercam 2 to record your screen for a video and maybe just record to make a list of highlight plays you do
this was a video I recorded and put on youtube a few years back, didn't really make a good attempt on the video, quality of hands were awful and I didn't put it thru an editing software to get rid of the black bars, but I used hypercam 2 to record it
please don't criticisize the shitty video, I know its shitty, I should've spent more time actually working on it but I just wanted to post a little something.

however methinks that me is too stupid to understand this:

can you elaborate here a bit- if you die in the process you won't fail the challenge? how come- do you have a bot set up or trained monkey to finish your challenge?

I'm going to do a tester video... see how it all works. I'll record myself playing the BRM Freeroll in less than an hour, then see if I can post it here...
Nice challenge Be sure you have some ducktape ore tootsticks to keep youre eye's open Do you keep track of youre profit with a program ore not???
And what was the max buy-in you wanted to play.... How many table's cus when one starts you are maybe still in the tournaments you registerd before.. Soo you maybe have to open a extra table?
Looks a cool challenge i am sure going to follow it and wish u Gl

I have PokerTracker, but won't be using the HUD while playing... but that will track my results, along with officialpokerrankings and or pokerprolabs.
Max buy in will be $4.40 I think... It's anything on the micro tab on Stars, so anything under $5.
I would expect to get comfortably above 20 tournies at the same time at the busiest times... but not exactly sure.
Luckily I have experience in 30+ multi tabling, and 24 hour+ sessions - so it's the making a profit bit which will be the hardest part of the challenge.

Running a little late (due to getting lost on the way to my new house )... so I'll be starting at 1pm instead of Midday... so little over half an hour to start time.
Feel free to rail me... though I can't guarantee I'll have the chance to respond
------------ If I meet the following targets:
14% or above ITM & At least 1 final table & At least $50 profit...
I'll give out a few dollars to a fellow Mobster...
Get my attention on the rail if you wanna be considered
