Not going on tilt is one of the greatest lessons you can learn in any form of gambling. Chasing your losses is always a recipe for disaster and if you can control this you are on the road to becoming a successful gambler

G'day mate

You are most certainly right about that one.
Going on tilt after what I perceive to be a bad beat BS situp hand from the poker site is actually one of my personal leaks.
I MUST always take a break after it happens or risk going on a real major losing swing because I am just ticked off and chasing after my loses.
Good luck at the tables

Yes, I do same mistakes very often. Sometimes I know that I should fold, and I know that probably I will lose, but I try to catch that little chance and sometimes I do.
I know it's bad way, but it's adrenaline and also, it's ego war. I want to win a battle, cuz I am a man Blink
And there situations, when you know your opponent have a hand which beat you, but pot is too big compared to call size and you call just becose you can't fold. Especially on microlimits.

Ronin, now that you say you're a semi-pro poker player, I really want to know at which stakes you play!

G'day mate

I play at all stake level to be honest.
It really depends on a few factors.
My bankroll and mood being the two main ones.
It also depends on the poker site which I am on at the time.
I am willing to play at a higher level limit in live play then online.
hope this helps your curiousity.
