The hand of the day ?!?!  0
How would you call this pre flop call with this hand ? (Player nick name at PS : Der Flasher )

Thinly-veiled bad beat thread.

Bet the flop and you win the pot

Are you just blind or what ? Do you even look at the video or just talk crapy , because some time ago i was mad at pokerstars that they just was blocking me ?

I watched the video, you are whining you lost with JJ v 23s

I pointed out, that you didn't lose cause of the other player, you lost because you checked when you were ahead on the flop, and called him all in on river when you were behind.
If you check when ahead and call when behind, you will go bust.

Had you bet the flop, when you were ahead, he would most likely fold and you would take the pot there and then, instead of getting greedy on a river where you could have easily been well behind to a straight or a flush.

So I repeat, if you bet the flop, you win the pot.

I agree with checking flop, no point in cbetting, we rep a strong hand so he'll fold all worse hands, while getting flatted by all better hands pretty much. I don't agree with the whine post though, not a hand worth posting.

So i repeat that what i wrote at the first , look at the pre flop action ? And now tell me why should ever enybody play that hand in this kind of situation , when you don't have position one me and you are not even involved in the game ?

For the sake of fun. If I was donking NL2 just for fun, I wouldve 4bet/called in his spot.

Well that would be better then just calling and hoping that you will hit something wouldn't it be ? Atleast you would try to defend your big blind , but to a raise for 18 cents i think that just calling is a really really optimistic call don't you think so ?

P.S I am not mad about loosing the money or the hand , just curious why should enybody play this hand with just a stupid call to uber raise ?

No I dont think so,even if you raised to $1 it's not unreasonable if he was just fooling around. Also I don't know why you even bother about it, be happy to have a fish like this at the table and just reload. It's either he just didn't care or he simply has no clue about the game, both is not a crime and both is something we should exploit, not think about it,just be happy people like him play this game.

i would have bet more on the turn , heavy drawing board , there is no need to take it slow , make him pay to see the river

Well not really happy that he left the table not giving me a rematch ... But yeah i reloaded and made a profit in the end ... Kinda found out that these cash games are more for me , as there is almonst none that i haven't been out with a mark + , as well for SNG tournaments i am been able to take down one and be at final tables , so the things have changed pretty well ...

As you remember the last time when i was annoyed by the PS now i am feeling great , been able to be a profitable player ...

------------
SKpmorita , if i would bet more that would almost be over the pot at all , not used to do things like that Smile

You gave him a free turn card, which opened up his draw, IceQueenAce post#4 says it perfectly. Worship Worship

you checked the turn because you were scared you were behind if you had bet $.46 he would of put you on the ace and folded Aww crap! Aww crap!

then go play PL Holdem
i would personally push all in on the turn , especially with your stack
dont get me wrong , it was a bad beat , but a little aggression sometimes is needed

Skpmorita , yeah still not calling my self a regular and a good player in these cash games , but hey while i have been playing , things changed for me and all is going good , your are probably right that i should push the turn as it was pretty scary board , but i really didn't expect him calling with this type of hand and it's just ugly to see how sometimes people by making redicoulus calls , gets there in the end Smile

I disagree a shove would be the wrong move here, a cbet would of given his opponent the impression of A or Q then he would of folded

Well then Pattalan , you would face a lot of re raises where you should fold a lot of times by just and would loose a lot of money by playing like that Smile

what? we are talking about this hand in particular, there is no way he would re raise you with nothing there.

a shove on the turn not the flop
people criticizing the check on the flop , he called a reraise 0.18 which is 9 times the big blind
what the hell he suppose to put him on , 3-2 Big Smile

@Samarietis alot of crazy plays going on in micro , just build your bankroll and move to higher blinds, good luck and may the poker gods be with you

Hi, I'm sorry you lost that hand, sometimes you just can not explain this kind of player, he made the call to your 3bet with 3-2 just an observation that you think you should bet on the turn a little more, however against this type of donkeys, would not you win the hand, I wish the best of luck and hope you can next catch up.

thanks for letting me be part of this community and please excuse my English and my writing errors

greatgamne greetings

I can not understand that your thinking stops so soon or you are a donk, I mean you very obviously dont know that this J would come. Would you really bet your jacks when he could very well have a pair of queens a pair of aced or a straight draw and you know you are very often behind (not in this case but he's just a donk). Not sure if you are behind with jacks to a broadway draw for sure. But I should really prefer checking here.

And what BeMy says is very true too, it's not a postable hand IMO because these things happen a lot and it's kind of obviously what to do!
