I just played this hand, and I was surprised by Player3's raise:

I would have thought it was obvious, you should just check this hand down, no matter how good it is. But since I never studied SNG DON tactics (apart from what I've read on the forum), I thought I would ask you guys, before getting all sanctimonious about it...
Would you have limp-checked the hand down, if you were Player3? And is there any situation where you'd want to do anything else with the tiny stack all-in? Perhaps when you are short stacked yourself...
Personally I don't even look at the cards in this situation (both relatively healthy stacked against a small stack all-in), and just hit check as soon as the button appears.

Only reason for a player, who knows what he is doing and how don works, to raise this hand is collusion.
I mean he wants to protect shortstack and trieto push other players out of the hand to go HU with him raising his odds to win the hand. But I guess if collusion was going on there you already should have noticed it.
So my thoughts are: raise is a donk (at least in DONs) and you shoud take a note on him and join all DONs where you see him registered.

It's funny you should say that, because I considered asking him why he was helping the short stack, and that it was bad tactics, but did not do so, because that would have been collusion on my part...
