My advice if you starting out is to look for bonus and play with the bonus, some good site gives out 10 Dollars or so and if you play 9 tables which i recommend to start learning about poker as you do not have to make more decisions than 6 max. You can check on the bonus pages on BRM, there are some good bonuses out there you can win and then cashout if not,you can choose another one and in the mean time you learning how to play poker even if you lose them and it is not your personal money. Watch a lot of videos on youtube and learn and work hard!

Hello and welcome to bankrollmob...
A good advice is not straight heading for the high tables Big Smile
Just look at youtube ,try to learn what Icm is and equity..
You dont have to learn it all straight away but eventually its better for youre game,..
Be patience try cash games 0.01/0.02 cent to get the hang of it,..
Try sng low and try tournaments low just to see what you like most,...
Then prepare yourself to play a lot and anylize youre hands often and study Big Smile

a coach ? that is the last thing you need right now
you are beginner , just play , have fun , i used to watch every YouTube poker videos or watch live on pokerstars TV , it doesn't matter if it is cash game or Tournaments , i just spend hours watching , i learned allot
and one last thing i really don't think its filled with smart people Big Smile

G'day mate

Well if you are totally new then a coach right now is not what you need.
You must learn to crawl before you can walk and then run.
You should watch some youtube poker training videos and read a couple poker books.
You must put in your personal training time and learn.
play some freeroll tournaments.
Do not worry about winning just get a feel for the game
find out what you like.
best wishes to you
be cool

You will need practice of course.
Getting some bankroll offers here from BRM is a good place to start.
Dont take them all together though.
One at a time till you clear the requirements or lose it Smile
If you are looking for coaching though, this is not the site for it. Good luck.

Watch poker videos read some poker books and don't let the highs or lows get to you. sometime you will run hot ans sometimes you will run cold. The triick is to get more out of the good times than you lose from the bad times. The only way to do that is learn about the game and keep you emotipns in check.

I think that the best way to learn is to just keep playing and learning from your mistakes. Overcoaching can sometimes be very confusing and i would just keep it simple and play lots and lots of poker

i suggest you to invest all the money you have to get the best possible poker coach, maybe even two (preferably they should be poker pro's and make a living of playing $0.01/0.02 nl holdem, ok ok razz will do as well). then after they open you eyes on how poker is played- you can start conquering the tables yourself... right from the freerolls, since you spent all of your poker cash on coaching.

Poker can be played in two forms: cash games and tournaments. As we have already seen, in a cash game you choose how much to buy-in for, and can always buy more chips at any time. However, tournaments are somewhat different.
Every player in a tournament pays the same entry fee and receives the same number of chips in exchange. Thus if it is a $30 tournament every player might receive 1000 chips in exchange for their $30. In fact the entry fee is more likely to be $30+$3, where ‘+$3’ represents the registration fee, a $3 charge for the cardroom.

learn the basics like handstrength ods and outs & potods
start to play low variance games like micro Sit'n Go`s (fulring) or micro double or nothing`s.
micro cash games 0.01/0.02. the more hands you play the faster you will improve

i recommend to read a beginner book (i bought one for $ 5 at amazone)
to watch beginner strategy videos would also help you to improve
and dont tilt if you only have a small bankroll

cheers

What i did is I played the freerolls to get the feel for the client and i've found that you should either make a deposit and play some higher stakes games if you want to play real poker or high stake play money because the freerolls are kinda weird because so many players are sooooo loose...... i go all in 3000 with A-A and i get beat cause some newb calls with a 7-3 suited clubs.....lol 7-3 suited is a hand that should never be played from any position

Do you have $215? If so, don't mess about with poker coaches, just buy into next weeks Sunday Million at Pokerstars and live the rest of your life on the winnings you make from it, by being signed up as an affiliate for the company and never having to worry ever again about buying in to a tournament.

That's how it works isn't ?

No?

You mean people really have to work hard to learn poker?

Wow..... I have just looked at the dates on this post...... Who on earth has resurrected this from the annals of time? Sorry....... Didn't mean to be so obtuse........... Love you all.

I dunno which post you answered here, but pls dont go on higher stakes until you learn that AA is not an unbeatable hand.
