Finishing 7th in a $5 MTT. Best finish I have had in a big MTT and won $69. Great bankroll boost at the time but a shame I could not finish better due to being short stacked.

I guess winning the PS weekly freeroll to take down over 200$ two years ago , as well finish 15 place in a 1+R with a 60k prizepool and taking down a little more then 200$ , shame that i didn't get to they final table as i was running so good in one point , but when the last 18 left , just didn't hit a single hand and it was hard to bluff in that stage ...

Winning my first live tournament , the first time I'd ever played in a casino. Not a massive field but over 100. I went home with £650.

In terms of wins was a 2nd place in a 20fpp tourney at pokerstars. Took home ~$110 coz of that Big Smile .
Just as far as playing is concerned, one of my best moments was in a cash game table. I got a nut straight flush on the flop and some guy went all in ahead of me with a flush A high Big Smile Big Smile
Took Him 20 seconds to realize what happened and then shout "rigged!" in the chat box before leaving lol

Any quick tips to play those? I suck at turbo tournaments. Sorry for posting out of topic guys.

So many good... First ever MTT on William Hill not long after my 18th birthday for $300... First ever four-figure win, taking down a $33 MTT on Party Poker for $1010... First ever MTT win on Pokerstars, besting 5000+ people to take home $5k... cashing in the Sunday million for over $1k... double final table in FullTilt's daily double tourneys, for a $8k pay... qualifying for UKIPT tourney for free... rivering a Royal flush vs Aces full for a $550 pot on a live table...

Yet it's still the bad things that stick in my mind more. Losing a $1200 pot with AA vs 22, all in preflop, ace on the flop, running 2s... all in heads up at the end of a MTT with 44, called by 22, 2 on the flop... cost me $3k in winnings... Bubbling in the UKIPT tourney with KK vs JJ...

Certainly more good than bad, but so hard to forget the bad.

I have been playing poker for nearly seven years, and there are three moments in poker I like to reminisce about:

1. Starting off as a $175 short stack at a NL1000 table, I worked my way up to nearly $800 when I got involved in a big pot. My full house ended up beating a flush for about $1500 dollars, and a really good player at the table commented “wp” to me.

2. One Sunday morning I decided to work on my tournament play, and I paid $4.00 to play in a micro satellite to the $80,000 tournament 888 used to host every Sunday. I then qualified to a sub-satellite, then to a satellite before winning my seat in the tournament. Out of 600 players I finished 36th for $600. At the time 888 would have a $10,000 freeroll the following week for everybody who had played in the tournament. Out of 250 players I finished 10th for another $200.

3. My favourite, playing live in our local bar league, I had qualified for the monthly tournament and a couple of hours into it, with an average stack and sitting on the big blind I get dealt JJ. Three callers and play comes to me and I put in a nice raise and they all call. The flop is Js-Ts-8d. I lead off with a decent bet, two callers and then the final player shoves. I think about it and call, and the other two players also call. I have the largest stack but not by a lot. We show cards, I have trip jacks, the player to my left has a flush draw, the player to his left also has a flush draw, and the final caller has flopped a straight. As the dealer goes to flip over the turn card I called out “Pair the board!”, and the dealer turned over another jack for quads! I suddenly become a big stack and ended up winning the whole tournament that night.
