The best strategy is to play the other player and try to exploit his leaks and also play on momentum that is if he is looking weak defending , steal a lot or if he does not know how to play short stack put pressure on him also if he tries to bluff himself out let him do it and just play the cards and you could make huge money from that. The best strategy is to be flexible in my opinion. So good luck mate and have fun at the tables and hope you make some money out of them!

Everything that Heskor says but I would start out aggressive. More often than not that will carry you through, especially against an inexperienced HU player. If ultra aggressive isn't working you can always adapt.

Beside agression is quite important for example all pairs and A with decent kicker even better starting hands.Position is also important first action almost every time deternine the actual pot. So if you go in go in agressively with relatively good hands, pairs, suited connectors, bigger suited hands, A with high kicker.

Being Heads Up,...a little weaker hand will take you a lot further,...I play them fairly tight,..and not let the opponent goad me into playing HIS game... So I just lay and wait and when some better than average hand comes along and buddy bets BIG or all in,...let him have it when he LEAST expects it... They get used to you folding,...then don't know what to do when you suddenly fight back...
