Fifty-Fifty on pokerstars  0
After 3 weeks of freeroll on Pokerstars, FullTilt and pokerminds, time to play some fifty-fifty.

I reach 750 VPP and received $10 and got another free $10 when I deposit $30.

With a bankroll of $50 I start two $7 Fifty-fifty at the same time.

First result : Finish 1st for $17.63
second : Finish 2nd for $12.93

Dollar Dollar Dollar

Go for two more, be back soon Blink

I will have to agree with Icequeen. No bankroll management here Smile
Although your results are good so far, i hope it will remain like that to get some more money
and play at the specific limit safer. But if you see it doesnt going well better drop down before
busting out. Good luck.

Cheers well done mate, fifty fifty and their other names they called, i like them because you can easily make money up to the $10 Buyin there it becomes more difficult but at the lowest level you can easily get a huge ROI as the opponents ware weak and they do all kinds of silly mistakes.

So good luck mate hope you keep up the form and make some money off there, just use sensible strategy like fold JJ if you have like five players going multi way, let them kick others out as there are more value in them busting out!

I know it's not the best bankroll management but with $20 free, I couldnt resist lol

Game #3 result : 2nd for $16.21
Game #4 result : 1st for $19.03

Dollar Dollar Dollar

I won't push my luck further Blink

Time to change, start a step 1 to see if I can get a step 2 ticket

Sorry but this is false. There is a reason why 5% ROI is enormour even at microstakes. Besides, reaching the money shouldnt be the only goal. Players with better ROI will often have the bigstack at 6-7 left and squeeze the last bit of value they can get, since they can create pressure.

As for BRM comments, if he can redeposit easily (which seems to be the case) there is no need to play BRM. What matters is building a sample at a specific format and buy in, what a player with no BRM usually doesnt because they just switch levels all the time. But if he loses the initial BR and can keep playing them because he is able to redeposit, there is nothing wrong. Your bankroll is actually not whats in your account. There are many people splitting their BRs among sites or have a big part in their E-Wallet. Your bankroll is your total amount you actually can spend on poker, includong eventual deposits.

I reckon you can at some other new pokersites, but pokerstars is a very good site and will void any try of "malfunction". Like pokerstars is the only site which recognizes most of the poker-hacking software/bots. They'll put many effort in keeping it fair and I think for some reason they don't like it.

You can never be sure to reach the money in a specific tournament.
Same goes with the steps.
If you didnt plan to play something specific then idk why you played the step 1 in the first place. As for the other question - no, if you register with step 4 and unregister, you get the step 4 ticket back

Spot-on.

I'm always trying to explain this- it's called an 'implied bankroll', meaning if you're playing with the implicit action of reloading if you bust and continuing to play the same stakes, there's absolutely no problem with playing these stakes..

As you say, it's only a BRM issue when you Yo-Yo up and down the stakes.

Never calling all-in during the late stages should be your default strategy, with only very rare exceptions where you either hold aces or have a very large or very small stack. This also relates to situations where calling a smaller raise would commit either you or your opponent to the pot.

What's your reasoning for this? Because it's the exact opposite.
Lets assume it's relativly deep in the game, 8 players left (so no large ICM implications yet), you're in the BB and a very good player (usually there are 6-7 very good regs and only 1-2 unkowns in high steps) shoves into you from the SB, you both have about 8 big blinds.
You really want to call with a premium only? It would even be correct to call with T9s in that spot.
Reason for that being that the very good player in SB should (and will) shove almost any2 into you.

Totally agree, I am always saying the same thing (I am one with BR split between many sites and skrill).

I just fail to see where he says he can reload.

Though with that argument I guess I am guilty of assuming it was his whole BR and he couldn't too
