I have been looking on the BRM site for info on being an affiliate but have not really found much apart from how to register and some terms and conditions. I would love to hear from any of you guys who are affiliates and how you have got on. I know absolutely nothing about this subject so any information you have on the subject would be helpful.

To get people coming on BRM you have to have knowledge of blogs or website so that you get traffic to here and if you cannot get traffic to your site then it will be a long war to get affiliates anyway good luck mate hope you get some people to sign up using your links as this will benefits both you and BRM . Thanks guys but keep it coming.... I get the impression it is probably lots of work if you want to do well but I also have 2 brothers,one is a website developer and the other works with computer software so basically I would have got them to help me set up but I think I will have to to look into it more carefully. I did see on one of the terms it says if you put links up in the wrong place and get complaints you can get banned by BRM so obviously not as simple as it sounds.
Approve Levels #1: ID and phone verification used when signing up. #2: ID uploaded when signing up. #3: Phone verification used when signing up. #4: ID or phone maybe used, but account didn't look trustworthy. Scroll to the bottom for an example of how the points system works.
This list might change from time to time, if we feel the points needs an adjustment!

Thanks likeit for the mass of info you posted, I have seen that list before and what I was hoping to see was a reply from someone who has made money from being an affiliate and maybe finding if they had to set up their own blog,websites but maybe they do not want to reveal their secrets. There must be someone there who is an affiliate.Someone mentioned controversy in a thread recently so would it be controversial if I wrote "BRM 4 the best tips" on my boobs and posted that or would that be disallowed?

That wouldn't be controversial at all to me .....I'd be all for it

Besides the close friends and relatives, that would have been easier to sign you ill need to be well connected over the net to get a good return i believe. The personal pages through social networks, must be a good way for it.

Thanks mober,one of the main reasons I have never considered something like this before is because I try and keep poker/gambling out of my personal life. I work with children and most of the parents are somewhat stuck up so not really something I want to publicise.
Hey yout,I have actually just created a youtube channel with that intention,nothing whatsoever on it yet,I didn't know if I was allowed to do that,hence the thread, and I will be speaking to my brother about just setting up some kind of site. The more I look into it the more questions I seem to need answering.

Do you know anything about copyright? Some people seem to just take clips from TV and put it on their Youtube channel,especially on these poker sites,surely there must be some kind of rules against doing that????

I know that whenever anyone does that on Youtube, it always gets pulled when they notice it.... So obviously not a sustainable method.
I would suggest something poker related is the way to go... Obviously you want people who have an interest in poker to find your referral code, so a poker related video is the obvious choice there.
