PKR had to do something, as their player base is still quite low. Can't say much about the new full client. I only use the light version, without much of the gimmicks. Interesting is the amount of bonuses they throw at players. I have at least one offer every week in the mail.

The offers/bonuses are very targeted.. They used to be exactly every two months, always a $500 reload (100% match) with pretty good rate (40% RB).

But then when they started losing their numbers, they changed it.. now - if you DON'T have cash on there, they'll send you reloads all the time..

But if you're frequently depositing, or constantly have a balance and making money, they'll offer you hardly any bonus.. (Although, platinum and diamond VIP get 33% RB plus another RB (worth up to about an extra 25%) depending how much you rake.

I do like their new improved software , it is faster than the last one
but PKR still need to work on their traffic
hopefully Oktoberfest will be a success , i might play the main event this year .. it depends really on how much bankroll i am gonna have in the next 3 days
and that is good Bonus for the new players , PKR might not have the credibility of Pokerstars but it is still pretty good

I think it definitely needed an upgrade as it never appealed to me .I played at PKR only once but when I was there it felt more like playing a video game and the hands seemed to take far too long,I did get to the final table and won about $40 which would be released if I deposited but I never bothered going back.
I still get quite a few offers every couple of weeks about the promos seem quite good for very small deposit so maybe I will look at it again instead of just assuming it to be bad.
