Just got to heads up in a $5.50 re-entry 2-7 SD tourney as a slight chip underdog...
There was $140 left in the prizepool that we agreed to split 74/66... The deal was confirmed, then I went on to win.... and was awarded $80 - the original prize for 1st.
Luckily for the guy I was playing, I'm a pretty stand up guy - so I sent him the $14
But just be warned.... careful if you're making any deals!
U mean that the moderator acknowledged the deal you both made, then after that didnt went on to change the outcome of the prizepool percentage for the top2?
Well I've seen worst things on Jokerstars, but still kudos to you for the stand on the agreement.

I doubt it that moderator acknowledged the deal. If he is than he would make the deal, and evryone would win what r they sopoesed to. But I think they didnt call moderator bcs if prize pool was 140$ you cant make deal 74/66 bcs ther wouldnt left anything to play for 1st place. Correct me if I am wrong but there must be some money out of deal to play for first place like they made a deal 70/60 and they play for 10$
Well, either that or that other guy sent them a complain about the outcome of the deal, meanwhile you sent him the money, they revised the outcome and took the same amount from you. So this time I think you should complain to them. All the necessary evidence are on your acc history, so write it up and make them pay.

Just got an email... come to our attention the deal wasn't processed, so we've taken the liberty of transferring the funds from your account...
Now just gotta hope he's honest enough to send it back
If i were you i would send a mail to stars telling them that you have respect the deal and already transfered the money before they did and ask to be reimboursed.

And yeay StheP... you can do deals that leave nothing to play for - as long as it doesn't specifically say you must leave something on the tourney lobby.

ok that was a weirdo... sure sh1t happens from time to time, i really don't see anything malicious from pokerstars here... sure it's quite trendy nowadays to accuse pokerstars of releasing ebola to the world and such... funny shaize with the transactions back and forth though
