Well i played 3 mtt's on stars and FT last night, a $1 nlhe on stars went out early a BRM f/roll on FT went out early and i entered an 82 cent nlhe mtt on stars and i never went out early in fact i got all the way to the ft out of over 2800 entrants,i eventually finished 3rd which considering my recent form is very food,i thought so anyway The hand i went out on i had A-4 in the bb, the sb who was next to me in stack sizes had limped the last 2 hands then took down the pot with a Cbet so i said if he limps this time im going all in and he limped so in they went,'he called and turned over A-Q but the flop came K 4 T , yes i said to myself the turn was a 6 and then the river was ......... goddam Q Anyway i was still happy with 3rd my best finish in a whlle. it's nice when you get a decent finish and pay out.

Many congratulations to you on your third place in this tournament and what a great return on your investment. It's always cruel to go out on a river card but you can look back with pride on getting so far in the tourney

Well done Teddybears........ A nice return on investment....... Doesn't it make you feel somewhat gutted when the action you describe takes place, especially after the game you probably played to get to the final table and third place. Enjoy your winnings.

Nice one Wish I got that kind of return every time I'm stuck playing 4 hours in the same tournament. Were you playing something else at the same time? like ring game or small stgs?
I find it hard to keep focused when playing only one table. it's quite boring actually.. specially on those periods after a big hand when ur dealt only crap cards for 30 minutes. So what's your secret lol

Congratulation TeddyBear what a nice win for a very very small investment. It makes it all worth going in those tournies with thousands of players. I like playing in the 18 seat SnG or the big ones with thousands. Lets hope you bring me some luck as I'm currently playing in the 100K Privilege freeroll with 11,819

Cheers mate looking at the screenshot it looked you have done well 3 figures profit and hopefully this is the first of many more 3 figures profit, cheers keep it up mate, anyway me not a great fan of money tournament as i do not fancy my luck in there but love some occasional freerolls and if it is juicy will go into tournament mode and try to win it!!
