So I went to see how many were registered in today's $2,000 Cash Booster tourney on partypoker...
When I bring up the lobby I see: 'Registration Closed'.... < Huh...?
....so upon closer inspection,...I see they have not only lowered the amount of the prize pool down to $2K from $5K,...but they have also capped the number of entrants at 3,500... < Poo Poo
Missed out,... < bummer...

I am on a major downswing (and withdrew money from most of my sites as was starting to tilt) of approx. $200 (buyins at about $3 so 66 buyin downswing, though about half of that was bets today that went wrong so thinking about it, not totally shocking).
will be looking to cash in the brm freeroll to get me back up and running. to recoup losses I need to hit 590GBP and to hit target for month need 675GBP (probably unrealistic but will give it a go).

Well if you want to play in next weeks game I suggest you register ASAP! The tournament is still six days away and there is already over 700 players registered. I do not think I will be able to play in the tournament but I registered for it anyhow. You know, just in case I can make the time in my schedule. Wishing you all the best. be cool

Cheers mate good luck at this promotion this is the bread and butter to make money, that is play the maximum freeroll and competition possible and hope to win and then build your roll up! Anyway good luck guys have fun at the poker tables and hopefully the poker Gods is with you and you can make some money on that promotion, me not poker today and it is study day for poker, so gonna check some of my hands and hopefully get a clue!

Hey Demo...I have been saving my tickets for this 5k tourney so have quite a lot of them now so I was quite surprised to see your earlier post and find that they could just change my 5k ticket into a 2k ticket.... It is now Monday afternoon and already there are 1100 entered,hopefully players will enter early and then forget. I think I will enter before the 2k turns into a $2 SnG.
My tickets always seem to disappear on a Sunday after the tourney is full and then return the next day.

After reading through this thread i logged in to check my tickets,well they are still there although they are changed from 5k to 2k. So while i was there i registered for this weeks,i might not play it though.

Well I have already registered for this weeks 2K. Personally do not know if I will actually get to play in it. I registered just in case. Did not want to realize later I could have played in it but it was already full before I realized it. best wishes to you all be cool
