A week has gone by and my roll continues to grow. As of my last blog post on day 10, my roll had grown by $427.44 and stood at $527.54 and my goal of hitting $625.00 was starting to be achingly close.
I stayed away from casino and stuck to small stakes cash and SNG, and had a couple of good days when I hit day 13. Unlucky for some but lucky for me, I started out by having some small gains in my m[...] Read more » Growing My Bankroll - The Next Step
Good luck for the rest of rebuilding (and for your son's basketball team as well). Great inspiration and well managed bankroll - it's always a treat reading from somebody here who know what he is doing and why. These blogposts somehow easily could lost amid the fog of meaningless tirades on this site.

Nice - every session a winner That's how graphs should look
Hoping my Party Poker graph is gonna take off again soon... the level bit is since I've been back the last few days - scraping around in a lot of cheap SNGs...

Great blog mahdrof! I know first hand how tough it is to keep one's discapline when doing a challenge like this and when the downswing comes. But hopefully that won't come and you keep pacing along that lovely graphical incline all the way to the summit. I wish you all the best Mahdrof and I hope you smash your goal and keep going Good luck and take care.

And it will certainly come, I've narrowly avoided a down day on a couple of occasions already.
Just have to make sure you don't let it effect your game too much, easier said than done I know. I used to drop down a level or two so I wasn't losing as much when the downswing hit. (same volume. Just less of a risk to your bankroll ) Good luck buddy

Yesterday I have been growing my bankroll on Ppokerstars by 2,50 dollars. I played the shark cage qualifier freeroll at 19 cet (the one for which you do not need a ticket) and finshed at place 63. Only 100 got paid out of 10.000.
