yeah was unlucky but what's with the limp preflop? I know it wouldn't of changed the outcome as that guy would of called a preflop bet but limping? I don't get why people limp when they are first in Confused Disagree

You openlimp out of position then flat call everything up until the river to make sure he could make his/her hand - then eventually it turns out he outplayed you all along and you think it was about luck?

Yeah, luck. Jokerstars, whatever. Good for you.

Don't get emotional over this, but I'm sure playing a lot of BRM frees won't help you 2 learn how to handle situations like this in a more appropiate way. I can only say never limp with strong hands out of position. You made him see the flop cheap and it cost you dearly.

I know I shouldnt limped, but in a lot of time when I limp wth this kind of hand, when I hit I am geting payed a lot, bcs they dont put me on strong hand when I am limping... thats why I limped... I dont limp all the time with strong hands but I do in 40% of time when I get this kind of hands... And I am not playing only bankroll freeroll, I play cash and sit and go a lot, and I know that on freeroll I cant learn much bcs it is freeroll and people play stupid there a lot and there is a lot of agresion

Yer mate don't listen to that know it all Bowie, He thinks he is Daniel Negreanu or something. I have not seen any great win from him nor see him winning any leaderboard comps. Is he actually in any top 200? No doubt with bowie's style of play his 2 pair would of beaten trips bahaha

Anyway Mate, that is your style of play, Even if you went all in with top pair he might of still called. who knows. Maybe just a call from his $1,000 bet. Then if you do lose you have more chips there to play with.
I know I'm not a very good player and have a lot to learn. But I think we are alike, We Keep it Real and no trying to be somebody we are not.
Keep trying mate and good luck

I would actually say that freerolls can help. They can show you that bad beats happen all the time. So if you get used to this idea and accept it, then when you get a bad beat in a real money tournament you should be able to deal with it better and just shake it off, rather than getting angry and going on tilt.
But yeah, your strategy of limping sometimes to disguise your hand will work nicely in some situations but I would never be limping in freerolls. It's just not worth it.

Good luck in the next one Thumbs Up

It's not really about the limping (everybody doing it sometimes one way or another on different situations), it's about the limping from that position. Cuz doing this from there (UTG+1) is really an open invitation for every player after you to see the flop with you, diminishing the actual value of your hand along with it.

I was limping bcs I wanted more players in pot... more players=more chips, ok I agree with you that I shouldnt limp, and thats my biggest mistake... And one more reason I didnt raised pre flop is bcs I thought I wouldnt hit anything, and if I raised pre flop I would have to represent strong hand on flop no mather what flop come out and that someone would hit something stupid and suck me out.... I realy think about it... Now call me insaine Tongue and again I know that I made a mistake by limping :S
