Well...... I have my ticket for a 2k freeroll all in tourney which is tomorrow night. I have registered and all we have to do now is wait and see what the poker gods bring. I may win nothing, but if I win something, the Xmas home game gets a proportion of it. Fingers crossed.

i have a clue that someone doesn't want to let you in, since the 1st post is a request to joint the club... you might be looking suspicious to the public at the tables in the rigged place... who knows maybe you will bring a bomb with you to the club and then demand to let you win or else...

I honestly think that for future home games we should make a minimum post count or something similar for people participating. With all the money added to the prizepool this would be an 'el dorado' for people joining the forum/site just to play these money-added tourneys that are originally made for community members.

Here the site have 618k members, the Rigged Place have below 200. Period. So I really don't think this is that big of a problem at all and we shouldn't make a big fuzz out of it. If we would have a minimum post count in the future these players just sh*tpost anywhere to make that barrier on time. This is not a free-troll tourey, if they payed for the buy-in then I really don't care this tourey become less +EV for some just because they have to play against more people. Hell, it's supposed to be A Christmas game, this should be a strictly - just for fun - playmoney tournament with playmoney buy-in and playmoney prizes.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
------------ I also agree that the home game should for regular members, so there should be a required amount of posts to join, and that wouldn't be too hard to do since we only have 2 games a year.

no just a number of posts is not a criteria- what i want to see is dude being a good dude? i mean a normal community member that is inputing sth into the community and looking just to get everything out of it...
basically in the future i see 2 scenarios for xmas/easter home games:
1) stick with BRM $50 git only and skip all of the additional donations + a min buy-in and doors open for everyone.
2) go with the current system and limit the field to regular mobbits only.
