So unlucky  0
today I was in great mood, and make some money, and then i lost 2 buy ins in cash game and continue to play to make some money back, and then some croatian guy enters table and all hands go all in... I said great here comes mine money back, just wait for ace and call him... so I got A6 he goes all in I call... he got 23 and flop comes 2... no ace no 6 so third buy in went out.... I dicaded to stay at that table and again w8 ace and call him... so he continue to go all in all hands, and got 1 caller and he bust him down too with silly hands... so he got in time few callers and he only lost 1 all in... he goes all in with realy shitty hands... and again I got same hand A6 and again call him, he got 89 and guess what..... fcking 9 comes out no aces.... and i was down 4 buy ins... and after that he went out of table with a lot of money.... i stayed at table and decide to play, I was pissed and play for 1 hour and only shitty hands comes to me and whatever I play, I cant do anything!!! and then I got QQ and someone before me big raised preflop, I called and flop was J high, and he goes all in... I know he got AA and I told to myself "can I be so unlucky that he got aces???" and I said on chat ÿou got aces? I got queens"he answerd "so fold" and I know that he is telling true, I have little more than half of buy in in my stack, and I decaded what the hell all night is going bad I will call, and guess what... he got aces!!!! And so mine 5th buy in gone down :S
In almoust evryday I made profit, and now with this big down I decided to give a pause few day to make my head clear bcs I am putting now mine poker skills at question... just cant belive that I am so unlucky :SSS

It was really about luck? Think again.
You already lost two BIs wjhen he sat down to play and you just lost some more.
It doesnt really matter how he beat you, you clearly wasn't in the right mindset to play more when he came to the table.

If you think that losing with A6 against 23 and again against 89 isnt unlucky, then I played bad...and I didnt mean on luck on table when I said that I was unlucky, but I mean on mine lost in general...

No, I mean you were tilting hard and his donking is just added more to your problem.
Luck wasn't a factor here neither on nor off the table.
It was just a bad day - you will get over it!

hey StheP,I would say that pushing against any hand with A-rag is gonna have you in trouble, you can only win with luck, this guys not playing with any clue and it seems you maybe wanted his stack to lift your losses.
It seems like you were a little tilted and perhaps should have waited to get his stack,he left the table because you were giving him chips and hes happy to get out in front, slow it down and be patient, nasty situation but keep your notes on him and kick his arse the next time.... I call all in with A-rag bcs I was scared that someone else would took all his chips and he would leave table,so I didnt have time to wait for nice hands and I realy needed him for mine comeback...

next, time save yourself the hassle, and leave the table when your up against a player going all in every hand

also try to to worry about other players taking his money, it is all there money you want...

take a little break, come back and play your A game

Good Luck At The Tables

lol I disagree, a good call is a good call. if you're ahead, then you did the right thing (well not always considering position... if theres ppl to act after you that may have monsters...). Thing is, whenever your money goes in the middle pre flop you can never be sure you're gonna win because poker IS gambling. So be ready to lose against any 2. Even if you would've had AK you would've lost there so it doesn't really matter what comes out (imo). Sometimes it just sucks that bad luck comes at the worst possible moments...

Exactly. All you should do is widen your calling range (depending on position, you don't want someone else with position taking both your stacks), and you'll be huge +EV. The actual result may well be nagative, but mostly you'll clean up.
You do however have to change your game a little; don't raise yourself, only to fold when he pushes again (this can become expensive quickly).

One thing I do sometimes is limp/fold, hands that I know I will fold when he pushes, just so he's used to me being in a lot of hands, and won't be scared when I have a big hand.

Surprise Surprise i agree with you 100% lol

I dont blame him going all in with anything, Do a stat for freerolls and 1 for $$$ games, the stat being about going all in pre flop ( not matter the cards they have) you will see a stat there that probable is juicy to some people. Myself personally i am a reckless player and would call if i was in the right position.

You should alway remember that Poker is at least a little bit a game of luck, although many claim it is not. Only in the long run it is more about skill than luck. But in one or two sessions everything can happen - bad luck.

I dont think so... I dont think that luck has influence in long run, but I belive that there is luck effect, but only little like 5%, its like you have full house and someone has quads... thats bad luck... other than that is pure skill... and on long run luck doesnt determinate anything... its all about reading your opponent, to know when he have something and when he doesnt...

first of all if you have maniac on your table best thing for you is to go away from it or go all in with top 5 % of hands AA,KK,QQ and maybe AK.For you bad thing is that you accepted flip and waited for ace thats exactly what that guy wanted.Because he got you with 2 3 doesnt mean he is super lucky even if you had odds on your side. You should focus on your preflop game besides doing flips a lot.Read some books about how to play against loose or tight players and try to gain as many informations as you can from your opponents at your table.

I know exacly how to play in those kind of situation, which I would do if I didnt lost money before, and need a quick comeback, and as I said before I was afraid someone else would suck him out, so I couldnt w8 to get AA and showe... and I know he will go all in on any hand bcs he went all in all hands, he didnt skipped any... and so if I call him with ace and any other card, I have huge chance that he doesnt have ace, and if its true, then he only have to hit his hand, if he dont hit, or I hit then I take all, so I have bigger chance to win than him, which is shown... percents of A6 vs 23 are huge in mine favor, and little less A6 vs 89... so I dont regret now for going all in then...

Pa ti si srbin nisam ni video ajd nastavicu na engleskom da mi ne kenjaju. It wasnt bad call at all if you think you had odds like you had and yes you can comfortable make the call before the flop, but you must be prepared to lose money in some situations because there is no hand that cant be beaten in holdem before the flop.So dont focus on that how you must get your money back and than gamble.I advice you to not play against maniac players, and dont play for whole stack unless you are sure you have the other guy beaten. So educate, watch videos and i hope you will get some money on the tables Smile
