Life is just a never ending conveyor belt of "what ifs".... Every decision we make has a consequence... Not always the consequence we expect, not always the consequence we want and not always the consequence we deserve... Ties in very nicely with poker. In life, as well as poker, when disappointments hit us, we just have to either know we did the right thing, but it wasn't to be... or that we made mistakes and MUST learn from them.
I live my life like a poker tournament.... TAG. Taking advantage of the opportunities that present themselves, but being cautious to avoid major risk where there is no major reward.

I think you are correct in saying that 'what if' comes into a lot of things in life. I have been through many 'what if' moments in my life and often look back on incidents that have changed my life

A while ago I was leafing through the newspaper in the classifieds looking for used sports equipment. In it was an ad for a volleyball league so I joined. A young lady completely at the other end of Montreal heard about this league through a friend and decided to join. We ended up on the same team, after a couple of months we went out on our first date and now 16 years later we have been married for 13 years, have two beautiful children and are still very happy together. What if I had not bought the newspaper that day? Another interesting post IQA.

After e read this, i thing that every day every people have this kind of thing, that kind of moment apears in some moment of the day, in some talk with some friend, working, playing some game, run for a place that you know but happens something that you not accostumed, the what if, is regular thing that you will maybe same times know who to react or response. But is this kind of thing that let us learn and progress in life.

Life is just one great big 'what if?' Just think about everything that you do or don't do, and consider the what ifs that come with them.. Your whole world could be a totally different place....or maybe it's the way it is because of the what ifs!

I am on the opposite. There is no 'what ifs' since you can't go back in time. All you can do is to live a life without regret.
