Hey guys,I hope no one has already mentioned this on the forum but does anyone know why the Christmas freerolls on 888 have had the players reduced,(starburst 500 players max and $5k lucky star now 1000 players max)? I played both yesterday and the fields were in the thousands,I cashed in both for only a couple of dollars but now the min cash for the lucky star is $11 and starburst is $1.65. Also when I first logged in to 888 I had a memo saying I had won $1.50 for a $5k freeroll I don't even remember registering for. Did I miss something in the last 12 hours????

Hey mate,
I also noticed today that starburst was 500 players max and $5k lucky star was 1000 players max. I wondered, but as it was the first time I had a look I thougt it was normal. I did not know it was higher before.

I'm pretty sure there were over 2000 in both as I only won small amounts.Not complaining though as just got $11 min cash in the $5k....top 260 out of 1000 paid. just noticed the 500 for tomorrow has now got a max of 5000 players and not 500 so maybe it is a sunday night thing???Also no copper freeroll tonight.

Hello klash,
I think the limitations in the starburst freeroll and the $5.000 lucky star freeroll are now gone. I just have had a look at the tournaments for tomorrow and the maximum number of players was higher again.

888poker they like to try stuff like that , they did it before in previous freerolls sad i didn't get to play in the small field and i don't think we gonna see that again but still nice freerolls , i will try to play the maximum

Yes it's back to normal now with 14,000 max for $5k and 5000 players for $500 with only a few cents for min cash.I don't think many people noticed the 5k was reduced as min cash of $11 (260/1000)was great yet around a third of the players were still sitting out. It maybe a Sunday limit for the amount of players though but I'll be looking out next week.
