This month i got the right to play in the premier skill league which i never done before.
After nine games and seven minus points i realize that i dont have the skill to play the tournaments of this league. I just cant build a stack in the first hour then i have to open my range and just loose.
Its hard for my pride but we have to face the thruth.

Aye i know what you mean there,i played in the skill lge once and it's not as easy as people would think ( for me anyway) lots of regs and the play is quite good,so no donk plays as you don't want to look daft in front of them. gl in it anyway pinotte.

I believe this is a freeroll, so you can try playing the whole game differently if the impact isnt that bad for you, cause i see you are getting minus points. If that doesnt get your place much worst you can try a little bit more crazy game. If you reach further in the tournament, you will probably cover the lost points.

Wow man, this is pretty honest stuff. But maybe your disappointment is coming a little bit too early. You should play for at least one month to be sure that you dont have the skill to play the tournaments of this league.

From looking at your stats, I see you have an exceptionally good ITM% (35%) mainly in very large field, very low buy-in tournaments...
This tells me that you're a solid player, who probably doesn't take too many risks - as that is the optimum style for those type of tournaments.
Two things I think happen when you play the Premier Skill League tournies... firstly, the optimum style of play is a little more aggressive, and you probably struggle to play that way, being so used to playing so tight... and secondly, I believe you are assuming that the people you are playing against are better, and giving them far too much respect....
My advice would be this:
Know that you're good enough to not only play against, but to beat these players... Know that your judgement on when to call, and when to fold will be better than most players in there... and when you know that, and truly believe that... start opening up your range a little - try more steals, try more 3-bets when you think they're weak... enter more pots in position, and use your good judgement to win some extra chips.

Thanks for your comments on my play and your advice.
I dont know if you ever played the premier league but what i see up to now is not aggressive play most of the raise are 2BB even with AA. The other day i was BB and AA one raised 3BB i reraise 3time is raise she fold. little after again AA i raise 3BB all fold. Again KK another 3BB all folds. Thats the kind of play i am not used to. Its hard to read. I hand i was not in the guy has AA raise 2BB he got two caller the flop come he shoved he got called one had set of 3. Usually in the other game i play if i have AA i will in early game i will raise at least 6BB or even shoved.
One other think is i play a lot of freerolls where its more than aggressive. LOL.
