I have just registered for the 11 dollar super stacks super knockout tournament that starts on stars in 5 minutes. This is the biggest buy in ever for me and would really like to see what kind of skill I am up against. I figure I could smoke this amount of money in a single joint and well I hAVE not smoked in a bit so lets try a different avenue of spending some money at a decent payday!
Wish me luck and see you at the tables!

Good luck with that. I don't play on stars so have no idea what you are playing but hope you do well. I've never really noticed that much of a difference in players skill at that sort of stake, couple of weeks ago I played 2 $5 SnG and 2 $10 SnG......I lost both of the $5 and won both the $10 so who knows!!!
Also I hate to have to tell you this but scientists have recently discovered that smoking is not too good for you.

Don´t you worry mate. If KK got beat by JJ and you had got all your chips in the middle as long as you still had the best hand this is just bad luck. You did everything right, so be pleased with your good play.

I was about to cheer you on.... <...THEN,...a few posts down I saw the bad news....
That was a fast $11 dude.... I feel your pain.... $h!t happens....
They are a much higher calibre of play than the cheapies or freerolls...and more enjoyable and exciting to play also...! Play enough of them and you'll profit in the long run playing a smart game...!

hard to throw away KK when 2 hands prior I lost to KK with AK
I WAS DOOMED FROM the start and when I can afford it I will play the larger tournaments....I have the skill and patience but badluck hit me in this one!
On the plus side of things, 3 more dollars to go and I will have made my buyin back on the cash zoom tables....playing 1c/2c omaha

I would do the same as you with KK i would shove anytime on the long run sure you will be winning more than loose but some days nothing goes well. Just keep your calm and patience you will do it for sure.

Posted by xgcsnippy: well I am out, my fucking KK got beat by JJ
what a joke of a site, always I get beat like this...I was so ahead of him then the river....
what a joke, oh well....lesson learned!
Do you think that your lesson is learned? )))))))))))))) When i first time play MTT's with middle buy-in , I started with slowplay and waiting for my card to come . Otherplayers are very aggressive , and you should fight for your $$$$$$$$. I hope you will learn the lesson in easy way..

Anyway peace out good luck and hope you do well and get some good knock out bonus, cheers peace out mate!

The guy was not aggressive at all...
at the flop I would do a pot size bet he called
at the turn pot size bet he called
at the river I am thinking ok he has AA but the odds I believe were in my favor
I shoved my remaining chips and well he turned over JJ, I would have most likely called in his position as well except he came out on top with a hand that was completely behind until the river. I hate when people think I am bluffing and chase and chase till the river. I do not bluff much if at all, I shove when I believe I have the best hand according to play, had he re-raised me once I would have simply folded before the river!
BTW it was 1/3 of my remaining bankroll for playing, anyways I have 7.50 of the 11 buyin back anyways from playing the zoom tables omaha 1c2c. a couple 4 of a kinds really helped!

snippy why dont you sat into them, less pressure on losing the buy in and going out with a bad beat like that would still feel bad but for a fraction of your bankroll, good luck next time....
