...and the World has lost a truly amazing man.
Steve Holden was a speedway rider in his youth, and a lot of his friends remember him for this... I however, will always remember the incredible, funny, humble and kind man that greeted me at my local pub when I had the good fortune to spend an evening with him.
I am hurting at this news, and can only begin to imagine what his wife, children and grandchildren are going through right now.
For those of you with religious beliefs, please include him in your prayers, and for those that don't, just take a moment to show a sign of respect to someone who truly was one of a kind.

Thanks for your words everyone.
As you are a little aware of him erru, you may know how highly everyone who knew him, or came into contact with him, regarded him... It gets said a lot when someone passes away, but Steve was a truly exceptional man.
And to pass away just 2 days after his 62nd birthday is a tragic loss.
While other sportsmen of the time were courting the celebrity limelight, he was busy preparing the track for race days, working on safety features, and hand delivering chocolates to the local children's hospitals.

I am so sorry for your loss. My sincere condolences. I will include him in my prayers. Just remember my brother... no one really dies because they will live on in the hearts and minds of those he touched. Take care fellow Mobster.

Meh, screw them - If giving posts like these a thumbs down brings a little joy into the life of the pitiful f**k who's doing it, then let them have their fun.

Yeah true. Its likely a freeloader/roller that hates all threads off-topic from freerolls and passwords. It happends often around here it seems.
