I'm not harsh at all if someone wants advice because they are simply unknowing, that's no problem at all., but I hate if people come to the forum, cry about their "unluck" and don't even try to pick up a single thing one of the better players (there are quite a few on here) point out and still think they're any good.
I've posted in another thread I'm happy to give coaching for a price that is probably better than they will find anywhere else if they look for coaching and if someone wants a specific hand to be reviewed I'm happy to write down whatever I think of it in a way so they can safely understand, without any comment of the class "you're so bad bla bla" etc.
But really, because someone had decent results in 2 or 3 games in a row, this doesn't make one a good player, and I feel as long as I say it in a "nice" way they will simply not understand they're burning money playing the way they do.

I hear you. Smile These are poker players and egos can be massive.

Specific hand advise and analysis, I've never once seen you be harsh. General poker advice? yeah you can be a c**t, but it's always justified.

Completely off topic, my wife ran into you a couple of times on stars a few months back. Her verdict? you're "not bad". Praise indeed. She massively overrates her own play.
Big Smile

its a hyper with this guy shoving every hand, you guys dont get that....he called with 2/3 and of course hits. I am saying it didnt matter what I played, I had big stack he beat me 4 hands in a row.

that was the final hand!

Ahh right a hyper. Almost all sensible play or strategy is pointless then. Seriously, not being facetious.

Still he's correct to call though. You were unlucky.

I am just having a bad day once again dealing with the Ex wife, then the bad beats and some of the s**t on here...Not pissy with anyone on here but adding a bit of salt to some of the wounds lol!

Using my Fpps now trying to get a Sunday storm ticket, not doing bad!

If you're having a bad day then this is the place to vent. Usually people wont judge you and things are soon forgotten. You go for it.

Good luck with that fpp satellite.

Well I lost my wife to some guy that just wont stop buying her love, yea we had our issues in the past and by all means she is not a gold digger but the fact he just out does me it drew her closer as its more financial security....

oh well maybe some drunk will hit him on the way home!

On a positive note!! I won on the calendar again lol

Just a random Hand I noticed. It doesn't even make sense, I just want to write it down.

I'm playing a just startet 6 handed normal speed tournament at full tilt.
There is a player that actually isn't special. your regular player.

Blinds 10/20. All player have 3K chips. Only one doubled up, but he folded this hand.

all of a sudden this happens
he has 10 Heart 8 Heart in middle position

-Guy UTG limps.
-Me A Spade Q Spade UTG+1 raise 4BB
-Our Guy UTG+2 re-raises like 10BB
-Everybody left to act folds.
-Guy re-raises all-in
-I fold
-Our Guy calls all-in .. for some reason.

Anyway Guy shows A Heart K Club
Board shows no face card, hits 10.

That was like the 10th Hand in the tourney

Suited crap is still crap. Some ppl will just never learn and some people have more money then brains

Yeah but I wonder why he played this hand at this stage of the tournament, since he seemed to appear pretty non-donklike

   0
After only 10 hands you can only notice donks that are obvious to be donks, as in if a guy shoves 10/10 hands preflop early of the tournament, they're clearly donks.
However, in your described situation the guy probably got bored after some hands.
After just 10 hands it's often impossible to totally determine that.

What if I told you that there is a little feature on poker sites, where you can add a little Flag to a player and when you go over the flag with your mouse, then a text will appear Shock

I know this guy..

If that's the case, you should work on your awareness of other players.
Even better, use a HUD like pokertracker or holdem manager, they both have free trials, or I can sell you my HEM2 code for a cheap price (I bought it some time ago but my computer is lagging using it).
There is not a chance this guy is "not donkish" if the hand happened the way you described.

Yeah I know, I already changed the note on him.
Yeah I downloaded Sit-n-go Wizard 2. As you probably saw I play lots of sit-n-go and only when I have less then a hour I play a cash-session. And occasionally a tourney.
Mostly because I don't know when EXACTLY to shove or call in the late game/bubble.

I think my early game is pretty good and my mid game decent, since I see myself almost every time amongst at least the top 5 - speaking of low-stakes Poker of course

First hand id suggest u raise higher. I woulda done atleast 120 there. The blind only hadda call 45 more chips to see the flop. If he wants to see make him pay

------------
Second hand was just really unlucky to say the least but it happends.

Thanks for your message.
Raising 2.5 times the big blind with AA from MP and getting two callers from blinds.., I almost smelled the sh*t coming right at my face, LMFAO! And that big blind (Styggapojken) with suited crap called 75 percent of the pot bet on flop with the bottom pair, just laughable!

Yeah it is pretty bad....i guess even if u raised higher. Your bet on flop wiulda been higher and he probably still woulda called if hes one of those....so chances are u were gonna loose ur chips eather way sadly.

Don't worry, me and I'd say 99% of regs at micro and lowstakes are unsure about the right range sometimes, that's totally normal.
As long as you keep practising with SNGWiz you will get closer and closer to the correct ranges, which will make you a definite winner at the micros.
Most important thing is to keep working on your game and to try to get your emotions under control. It's okay to be angry about bad beats, I often smash my desk while playing as well, but it shouldn't get on a level where you blame the site for losing. Losing, no matter how good you are, over a decent amount of games, is totally normal and will happen to you everywhere, online on any site, as well as live (just hard to play that many games live).
Once a player has accepted the variance part and knows what a normal swing for their specific game is their mindset will become 10 times healthier and frustration will be 10 times lower during these usual downstreaks.

Yup there gonna call any size preflop raise at these stakes if they wanna play there hand. If i got a call i could be pretty sure someone was holding the ace of diamonds, trips or two pair. if they were holding king of diamonds my bet is big enough for them to think i got a monster.

------------
Gotta take into consideration if i just checked the flop and someone bet into me i got no idea were im at in the hand. Whether there bluffing or on draws ect. Atleast if i got a call it limits it down to what im up aginst.

Instead of folding this monkey decides to limp in on small blind with suited crap. Threw the tourny away when he could have just folded and lost 50chips.
