The final major event of 2014 has concluded in Las Vegas, as 586 players turned out for the WPT Five Diamond World Classic. Mohsin Charania became a double-WPT champion after taking down this event for $1,477,890, when he defeated Garrett Greer heads-up. Also boasting an EPT title, Charania is just a bracelet away from being the first player to boast both a Triple Crown and a two WPT titles. Also making headlines in this event was Daniel Negreanu who reentered five times. He eventually came 25th for $35,000 meaning he was still down overall.

I'm sure Daniel Negreanu was able to afford the five buy ins for this tournament,I would still be happy to have come 25th out of 586 players though after such a miserable start and the 35k would have softened the blow just a little bit.
