Oooooh! Mixed feelings here about this development. Maybe I will pop along on Sunday and see how big the registered field is. I think it may be a big field for a few weeks, but then tail off to the usual suspects. It must make sense to BRM for it to be changed...lets give it a go.

I would like to clarify the issue with Bankroll Mob tournament with ID 114531446 which was supposed to take place on 28th of December. Please note that Bankroll Mob freeroll is a tournament strictly organized and advertised by an affiliate of ours and we are only hosting the tournament. Please note that for the said tournament there were no players invited by the affiliate site and therefore the tournament was cancelled due to insufficient participants. In such cases, we do ask our players to contact the affiliate directly and find out more.
With regards to tournament #114691240 which ran on the 4th of January, we have not gotten any information about issues with it and from what I understand, only invited players were able to register. If you believe you have been invited or should have been, please check with the affiliate site.
Please note that we have no grounds to refund any amounts spent on our site and there is no breach of contract as you are accumulating points which you can use on our site by spending funds and playing the games offered by us. The added benefit of participating in a restricted tournament is subject to Terms and Conditions offered by an affiliate site, therefore we cannot accept any responsibility if the event is not organized correctly or gets cancelled due to reasons beyond us.
------------ question is, is it a brm issue cause party just blamed brm totally
and I withdrew from party cause I believed it was a party issue

And how does BRM would knoe if you have obtain the ffifty points required to play this tournament.
BRM gets a portion of the rake we pay Party Poker, that's how they know. At least that is my understanding of how affiliates work. That's why you have to sign up at a poker site through the affiliate, to be able to benefit from it, and why it is impossible to link existing accounts to the affiliate (the site is not going to pay the affiliate for members it's already got).
I think the new way (5 PP entry), everybody with a linked account can sign up, and there is no weekly figuring out who has accumulated enough points etc... I can appreciate that the hassle for the 40 odd players that register every week, is not worth it for BRM. Especially when we get upset when things go wrong.
I just hope the alternative will turn out to be comparably juicy...

Customer service rarely knows all the deals. We have never invited anybody to these freerolls, it's always been Party taking care of it. Maybe they changed procedures or something, I don't know. But these issues are the reason that the format is now changing to a 5 PartyPoints buy-in instead.

I am looking forward to next weekend when I can buy into this tournament with 5 party points and play poker with fellow mobsters. I am sure it will be a success and will no doubt encourage a few more people to play and also generate more success for BRM!
