Got to abort
Info to follow....
------------ So.... I noticed a certain amount of lag whenever clicking fold, maybe only 1/8 of a second, but enough to worry me, so I unstacked the tables and watched....
Turns out, that when it was my turn to act, it was taking up to a second before that table popped up... Meaning that I ended up timing out and missing around 20% of the hands in the early stages - once the ante came in, it would use my time bank, so was ok from there... But cost me big time early on.
I am going to need to replace my laptop before attempting any more challenges...
I don't know how much $ wise this has cost me yet, and how much is down to some major below EV running... updating PT4 now, so I'll know soon...

I know the feeling of having a laptop or PC that can't cope with your needs. I've got 3 computers and the only one that's working slightly is the PC that I bought 8 YEARS ago! Still running Windows XP on that one but it's not the fastest computer I've seen.
So yeah, when I get the money, I'll probably be buying a new laptop! If you find someone that works good for not too much money, please tell me!
Good luck getting back on track and trying your challenge again!
Btw, if you have time to try something, it might get your computer to work faster. Download a free software called "Everest Home Edition". Just install the trial, no need to buy it. Use that program to see what type of graphic card you have (numbers and letters and everything) and google that name and add "driver", you'll probably find a few out there, pick the one that seems to be the latest version and download and install that. By doing that, I got my computer working about 30% faster. Not sure that it'll work for you but worth a try maybe?
And no, just doing the regular drivers search from the Device Manager won't do the same thing. It also won't show the specifics needed for the google search.

Posted by StS5: My challenge for the first month of this year will be to play all January challenges on Pokerstars. This was I can Dollar all in shootout every day and one 100.000 Dollar all in shootout at the end of the month.
Im doin this too. I got 1.50$ set aside to play two 2cent 990man hypers a day. Just goin in first hand to get my ticket for the day. 4cents a day for a chance to win alot more is great.

Typical..... I've only just got to see this challenge to find out that it's been aorted due to technical reasons........ Well, you will need to increase your ROI to,pay for a new laptop I thin but I have every faith that you can do it......staying tuned!
