Around September I got a 10E bonus in poker heaven if I reached enough points. until the end of October I had 200E in there + 720$ in PS - Yes! all from that 10E Bonus. The problem was that I played way too much poker and it affected my life in a bad way - work, family and other hobbies. I wasn't happy with all these winnings because I wasn't able to control my playing habbits. Eventually I started playing heads-up for up to 300$ per game! just to win big or go home so I could get my life back. Now I have less than 10$ and I play once in a while. Much better for me

you are so right there fellow mobbit roeish- ~$1000 in profit sucks, much better to have $10 in your account and lots of free time.
btw just to let you know, there is such a thing as a cashout- which ultimately would allow you to leave same $10 in your account, a bunch of free time and a $990 in your wallet which you could spend in that extra free time.

Your'e right obviously. I actoually did cashout a few years ago in the same situation and had a nice weekend with my wife using this money. This time I couldn't bring myself to take money out of PS. I thought that if I get to 2500$ I will cashout 2000$ and continue to play with the 500$, but tried to get there in two days and not lose another month of my life getting there. Next time I get in this situation I will consult with you here online

It is good to see you got your life back on track , there are much more important things in life besides poker & money however having money makes life one hell of a lot easier, next time stick to somewhat of a bankrollmanagement or atleast cash out every once in a while because 300$ huds games is not sustainable at all keep cool and keep your life on track man

Thanks man, Poker money is not like regular money for me. 100$ in real life is a two hour work fee, and in poker it's fortune for me. I guess that the fact that I can't deposit money regularly but have to buy it from another player helps me disconnect between the two. Maybe if I could deposit money strait onto the site I would've lost a lot more money over the years.

Wow mate these are very big earning from one single bonus, but loosing it all in such a quick time is pretty harsh. I guess you should not have been playing heads up for 300$. In heads ups it is all about luck and these stakes are way too high for your bankroll.

Addiction most of the times have bad results. Good thing you managed to get it straight. Since you already have a steady job, there is no reason to put so much on it. You can play more for the fun of it along with winning some money, if thats possible Of course you need some luck too, so good luck with it

Thanks Mober. I have a problem with addictive habbits. I know that and so most of the time I control it. This time, because I kept on winning I just couldn't stop. I don't expect another strick like that anytime soon so I guess I'll be okay. Good luck to you too at the tables and in life
