Tournament Donks  0
Question.

How do you play against those Idiots who go all-in with everý fucking Draw?!?

I just limped with 4 other players and hit 2 Pair.

This guy as a Big-Stack goes all-in with a Flush-Draw (with 3 Big-Stacks and 1 Short-Stack in the Pot ?!?!?!??!?!)

So I and the short-stack call him. Guess what, he hits the Flush.

He does this every single time and if you call him often enough he will hit it !!!!!!!

And since donks hit it everytime it doesn't even matter that he is gambling every Hand with 1:3 odds that he risks his fucking tournament life.

HOW THE F**K CAN THEY HIT EVERYTIME BUT WHEN YOU PLAY SOMETHING LIKE THAT YOU MISS IT EVERY SINGLE TIME Aww crap! Aww crap! Aww crap! Aww crap! Aww crap! Aww crap!

You need so long to build a fucking Big-Stack and then some super donk comes around with his out of this world superluck and gets all your Chips.. SERIOUSLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HOW THE HELL CAN I DEAL WITH SUCH SUPERDONKS?

Would you rather people played well against you?

Just trust in the numbers, if you are playing well while others are donking you will win in the long run

Donks will suck you out anyway on tournaments.

Either they hit they 1 Out now or 2 hours later.

But they will and it needs only 1 hit to bust you.

...BrM freeroll on PokerStars by chance...? Cool

Then either,

1. Don't play tournaments
2. Play games without community cards
3. Play like a donk as, according to you, they always suck out.

What not to do is get angry about it. It's the nature of tourney play.

Yeah but how can I avoid those stupid situations?

Well you need to realise that poker is all about good long term decisions. Also if you play only 1 table suck outs will piss you off because of the time invested so maybe you should play more.

It's a risky situation because his draw is live... but who cares. You don't want to avoid a situation where you are ahead. If you think you have the best hand when he shoves, call. There's no reason not to. Once the chips are in the middle you have to be lucky anyhow. Seems pretty basic to me xP

In your case, your best solution is to quit poker. It's hopeless to write anything constructuve if you ask the same questions over and over again just so that you can cry about bad beats, just because you can't deal with the game as itself.

This is my first Tournament question I EVER asked

No, it's the same over and over again. All your posts include either how to deal with bad players or how rigged all sites are, that all donks win everytime and that you're hopelessly unlucky in poker.
I told you several times how the game works, that you cant win everytime, that you can't win every day, you can't even win every week. Still you cry about bad beats every day on here.
But you either don't want to understand or you can't control yourself about it (in which case, as others wrote in some other thread, you indeed would have a gambling problem).

You keep posting about donk lost and you say its your first.

If everybody would make a post each time they lost a hand or game this forum would be the looser forum. Because if you dont know you are not the only one loosing against donks players and they dont write it. So if you dont have anythink else to post just stay quiet. Aww crap! Aww crap!

No, I was talking about Sit-n-goes and Bubble Bad Beats.

This is a totally different scenario.

Hope there are other guys around who can give me serious advice how to handle this.
No more off-topic please, thanks.

A SNG is a tournament... Confused Big Smile
Also I remember I told you how to play vs. bad players.. Even if you follow that it doesn't mean you won't get sucked out. Again, if you can't deal with that, quit the game.

Yes, you know this makes no difference in terms how to approach postflop vs. bad players?

Lebron, why don't you move up stakes to see if there are noticeable changes/differences as to the relative skill levels of players. You might better off at higher stakes.

Don't get me wrong. I am not talking about $1 million buy-in tournament full of amateurs with money ($1 mil is just a pocket change for them) to burn.

Good luck! Smile

Don't make him burn money Big Smile there are bad players at all stakes, so this won't change his frustration (that's where the money players earn comes from) and with his current state he will get burned alive vs. good players

Because I can't afford this, yet.
I played a couple of times on Mini Stakes (Currently Micro) and broke even over a couple of weeks. But a couple of weeks is not really a long time.

I think without Rakeback I would be totally lost.

Also the MTT's buy ins would stay the same, because the next stakes after 1,10$-3,30$ is 5,50$ and then 11$+ which is too high
