this tournamente has been completely gonnente.
rumors go that it is gonna be rescheduled for 2022 or sth around that time. you have to understand that we are living in tough economic times and tournament like this would show a bad example to the worldwide community and could be classified as a complete waste of precious resources.

Well, finally it is here, but as it was suspected, it's on Duck. Had to take the 250 mobpoints instead. It's a pitty. I actually wanted to play the freeroll. with all the fish here I thought I really had a good chance on cashing some $$$

Yup its official... I took also 250 mob points, but it seays there is 430 give or take few players on this tournament, and that is equal to 250 mob points, but more than half isnt going to play on this tournament, so if there is less than 200 players we sould get all 500 mob points, not 250 O.o but ok its better something or nothing... I am with most people on this thread by the looks of it.I would have liked to have been playing the tournament but I don't need another poker account right now. It will be good to see how many players stay in the game at Duck,maybe it would have been smarter to have waited just in case most people take the 250 points.

Well that's a bit of a downer on duck poker the most rubbish site iv properly read about, I was hoping it would be on partypoker ah well every getting 250 points by looks of it so who ever plays the free roll good luck I heard withdrawing funds is impossible maybe why they've put it on duck poker

I think it's funny that people think Duck is crap. Why because Angry Tony said so? To me it's just another room where you can play cards at. Dunno what's up with all the sentimental bs.
I think they're a very small but still decent room, and they had small software issue where sitting out players with under 2 BBs would auto shove for some reason but really it's the only real issue I've had with them. And it seems like it's been fixed. Once you prove your ID, you can withdraw just like any site, I've done it twice and I built a 3rd BR already...

Well I just got the message about the Xmas game on duckpoker. I have already opted out of the freeroll and accepted the 250 moboints. I have heard nothing good about duck poker on any of the poker sites I visit. I know it was a economic decision on behalf on the BRM administrators, but I think they made the wrong choice this time. Well an extra 250 mobpoints this time is cool with me. Wishing you all the best be cool

I am in the same boat as most posters in this thread. The restrictive Duck Poker isn't the room i have hoped for. So i have to make do with the 250 mobpoints instead. Far better than some more playmoney at Duck.
Why don't you try it for yourself and be the judge Ronin. I bet half the people here haven't even tried it
Well guess what... It's a program that deals cards and lets you play poker. And it's not ran by a multinational company. Anyways, I don't know why I'm trying to convince you guys since smaller field is gonna be good for me
Im not saying making the freeroll at stars wouldn't make more sense but still why complain about a room you haven't tried? Makes no sense to me. I'm sure stars and FTP did some mistakes too in their first year of activity that doesn't mean they didn't fix them.

I have to tell you that not only sit outs under 2 BB shove, i got a shove from a guy with over 18k(i had 17) and he won the hand, but he was sitout dring al this and in the last 20 minutes or so

Duck Poker is not a to bad place to play if you are a very good cash game player and since i am a very bad cash game player and it is the only game, due to player trafic, that you can pay enought rake to cash out your freeroll winning i decided to close my account there and left around $20.00 in my account.
I dont know if the $1,000.00 freeroll tournament will be under the same condition but anyway i took the 250 mob points.

I have just grabbed my 250 Mob points. Instead of playing the freeroll for opening more than 100 doors in the christmas calender, I decided to take the points, because I do not have an account with duck poker.
