Hey! you lucky players. Can you please tell me how you can get 4 running cards to either make a straight, a flush and or a full house???? I have been beaten by these lucky players so many times. It appears to happen more so on Pokerstars and Full Tilt. Strange but true.

Hello my unlucky friend. Dont worry about lucky players who are making a runner runner flush or straight against you. That happens to all of us from time to time and what most players often tend to forget is, that they are also having that kind of luck sometimes.

Try writing down the times u hit a four card straight or fullhouse. U dont remember because u were on the winning end of it. U remember the bad beats but not the ones u give out. It happens to everyone not just u. And everyone gets lucky too they jist forget about it.

When you are going through an unlucky period you will always remember the times you lost, especially if you are always half expecting to be on the end of a bad beat.Hopefully it will always even itself out over time. I learnt pretty early on that if you can't handle losing then it is time to play something else.I played a lot of cheap 4 man super turbos on ipoker and quickly saw that it happens in my favour just as much.
It's not that you are a losing player because of it, but rather you must become a winning player despite of it.
Try "big hand big pot, small hand small pot", so try and escalate the pot when you are relatively certain you've got the best hand, and try and keep it small (or fold) when you're less sure. I see so many players trying to trap with the nuts, and win only a small pot, while losing their entire stack with the second best hand...
Luck happens only when you go all in with KK or AA!
But if you play them postflop then this is not a luck but skill!
People just can not fold these hands but if you think a little - they are just Pairs and you have to read your opponents. You have to able to fold these hands if you think that you are beaten. That makes you a good poker player.
To loose small and win BIG when you have the nuts!

No it's mostly luck these days. And if you cannot see that then you are blind. Unless I am blind and all the fish, calling stations and bad players are just that good at knowing what you have with their bottom rag pair, know their one or two outs will come out or whatever trash they call with in bad positions and still beat you.

i used to complain lot about my poker luck but i learned that is not everything is about me it is just simple luck now that i got that i would lose to a 2-outer and i won't even get mad because i know i will get them next time and the villain won't keep this luck for ever

Depending what your calling range is, but most of the time this is a good shove. The fact that you hate his shove so much makes me think you most likely call a too tight range in this spot -> making his shove profitable because he takes the deadmoney often enough if you fold. I probably wouldn't shove any2 here but Jx I'd shove in his spot as well.

Yeah i was tightend up a little short stacked waiting for a spot. Not complaining tho i dont care just showing it happends to the best of us and life goes on. Another tourney/cash game is jist a click away no point in dwelling on one bad beat. Lofe goes on and if u cant handle losing then u shouldnt play.

Yeah I'm just saying if you call tighter than like 22% (includes hands like J10o/Q9s etc., I'd also call that only vs. regs because rec's don't shove nearly as wide too) then it's profitable for SB to shove any2 for the deadmoney alone, and if you call he still has equity
