I am not quite sure what you mean with hands up, but I guess that you want to play heads up (only two players at the table). I hate this format and do not play it if I do not have to, but definitely you have to play more agressive than usual.

I have to agree with the other comment. When you are playing heads up you have to play much more aggressive. That is not saying that you are going to be wreck less. Your range of starting hands is going to expand greatly. Bare in mind that when you are looking at hand after hand and they seem like crappy cards he is getting the wide range of cards as well. But yes play more aggressive.

tight is the preferable way if you are looking for more pleasure, but remember to be aggresive enough to stuff it in, the tighter it gets the more aggressive you have to be in order to fight the extra resistance.
only my two cents though, you are welcome to do whatever yanks your crank.
Hands up... When everybodys hands are up you have to be aggressive, I mean you cannot rob a bank smiling to the cashier and flirting with her when she puts all the money into your bag. You just have to be aggressive so nobody will think about tricking you.
BTW it's not either/or, 'cuz tight and aggressive aren't contrast to each other.
