Wow, what a list of players left in. Phil Ivey, Brian Rast and defending champion Ami Barer to name just three. All eyes will be on Ivey but i have a sneaking feeling Brian Rast could win

It did not go well for Phil Ivey today and he was knocked out in about 23rd place and since then Kan has also been knocked out and now only 7 players left. The momentum appears to be with the German player Lennart Uphoff but it is all quite close and they all have a decent chance.

it is a shame
Ivey is out
the luck that is involved in poker
really makes it different from other games
the best players don't always win
there is always new people and new winners

The favorite seems to be Raiden Kan, but my favorite is quiet Phil Ivey. I look forward to further reports from this tournament. Awards also arouse the imagination.

It is all finished and after Joel Douaglin was knocked out in third place a deal was negotiated. The winner was Manny Stavropoulus who won the title and pocketed a nice amount of over 1.3 million dollars and the German Lennart Uphoff coming second for 1.2 million. Smile

If the large chunk of the 6,480,000 australian dollars worth of prize pool will be really up for grabs on the final table then they are doing this better than the WSOP Main Event this year, where dozens of unsatisfied players from last year cried it out the ITM % to be more wider so they can say they were succesfull by going home with the 800th place. Such a pity.
