it is part of the game and since it is last part of a hand it is either gonna improve your out-come or make it worse
it doesn't make much sense when people say i hate the river you don't hear players says i hate the flop or the turn even though they were already with low percentage before the river and always expect to hit their hand on the river

I think we only dread the river when we can be outdrawn,it's a different story when we need the river to hit to give our opponent the bad beat.....when we have that happen we don't give a second thought to the other player.

yes definitely watch the River Rat, in case you don't know it is a 1984 independent family film starring Tommy Lee Jones and Martha Plimpton. Filmed on location in Kentucky, on the banks of the Mississippi River. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0088006/

I am also one of these guys that really hate the river, especially when someone is making a big bet and I dont have the nuts or something close to that. If it is a very loose player I sometimes call only to see, that this time he rially has a hand.

The river the dams river It´s the card that most of the times breacks you up but sometimes makes you win That´s poker at his best sometimes makes you feel good and other times makes you feel bad (most of the times) Forget about it and keep on next time you will be on the winning end
