There is plenty of poker left to be played in this tournament but Bertrand 'Elky' Grospelier must be feeling good about his position in his home tournament. Good luck to all left in

To go from only 4 big blinds left and expecting to be leaving fairly quickly to fighting back and ending the day as chip leader must be a great feeling in this kind of tournament and if he goes on to win then it will definitely be one hell of a birthday!

Today I have played the EPT Deauville freeroll on Ppokerrstaars but unfortunately did not get many good hands. In the end I had to go all in with A7 offsuit, because I had only six bigs left. Of course I lost and finished around 9.000.

Unfortunately Alex Tikhoniouk did not make the final table but did manage to get into the money by finishing in 24th place and cashed a nice amount of nearly 17,000 Euro,(around $20k) but still a great recovery from only 4 bb.
I've never met an irishman named Tikhoniouk in my life, I guess he must be an interesting fella, With this name I just want to know how he become irish though. It looks to me that he at least can play cards in a decent way and plenty younger than me so I think my live tournament poker carrier finished before even started...
Don't call me Sherlock Holmes for nothing - so after a thorough detective work, I can say that Alex Tikhoniouk is not really somebody worth mentioning 'cuz his results follows as: $1,467 in 2011; $2,190 in 2012; $36,365 in 2013; $15,711 in 2014; $18,913 in 2015... Which is astonishingly good if you are comparing his live tourey results to mine, but otherwise there is a reason nobody knows him.
