Yes after a a couple good wins I am out about 200 bucks in the last month, I still have some bankroll left however find it hard to recover. I am not personally playing bad hands, I am just getting sucked out on the river by draw chasers constantly. I am playing how you should be and if you play proper poker you should be profitable and lately I just do not see it!
when will this end, losing my mind a bit over it and beating myself up over it...I do not think I am a horrible poker player but lately I look like a damn noob when in reality I have had the best hands pre flop and going up to the river.
How is your all-in EV doing? If this is still positive, you're probably experiencing the negative side of variance. If not, maybe you have developed a leak you are unaware of. Check your hand histories...
I sometimes just play $0.10 and $0.20 SNGs a while when not running good on NL4. It doesn't hurt the bankroll, while you recover a bit, playing a different game.

Dont worry man. If you are maintaining a good and solid poker play your loosing straight will eventually end one day and maybe it will be followed by a massive upswing. I would try not to play too high limits for now.

A good idea from Marquis to play some cheap, lower than usual buy ins, just to try and get past your slump.Everyone goes through a bad patch at some point and if you are playing well as you say then soon the bad luck will end.Good luck.
R u sure you were playing within the exact level appropriate to your bankroll? Btw if you are confident this is not really about your skills then just wait for this downswing to reach an end. Redeposit, regroup and start again with a clear head. You will be up there in no time again. But sometimes it's healthy to have a little break here and there.

It really depends what you played, but if your "schedule" wasn't something like $1.50 9 mans only then $200 is by far not a "huge downswing", you will have a lot worse sometimes.
