Pokerstars is not rigged, sorry any dudes that thinks that it is and think that is the reason they can not win.

Point to note: With poker in the long run, the house always wins and only around 16% of players will be profitable, that leaves the other 84% either realising this and continuing to play for fun and to get better and a few claiming it is rigged.

Grinding while being a "losing" player will not generate profit, grinding as a winning player using proper bankroll management will generate profit, grinding as a winning player using improper bankroll management could generate profit, but more often this will result in a loss as well.

All that considered, if you meet the requirements, play with discipline, within BRM and continually learn and improve your game, you may have a chance of being profitable, try to take ANY short-cuts you will either accept it or be on here bloging incorrectly about rigged-ness.

gl all 3P out.

Some people don't understand one simple thing:

Pokerroom gets money anyway. They don't care if you lose or win. The more hands you play, the more they earn as a "rake".

I don't think that the game is rigged for a special set of players. When sites rigged, it was to give advantage to risky players. Risky players make more rake per table, and get more money in the game, both are important for the site's bottom line.

If at all they can only do it in small portion, because it is constantly monitored by 2+2 and others but maybe in a small scale they let the crazy players win more than their share.

@pinotte I say not that you can get no bad beats in a casino,I play know many years and for me is more profitable to play poker in a casino. What happens sometimes in online poker is against every statistics. I know to that can happen you can get a bad run over weeks. But sometimes is it only unreal what happens online. When I lost in a casino I know I'm only unlucky this day and was not beaten by the software. So I get not a bad feeling.
I know the game after I think is now 14 years that I play Poker.I have made in the last weeks on 2 site from 5$ND to 30$ and on the other sites 60$,I win,I lost look at the bad players on the table and all is normal. But then I loses all hands when I was in front I losing 8 from 10 hands with a min 80% on turn(and that happens the next days, not every time 8 from 10 but every big pot,so I got broke in the end).Sure that can happen sometimes but for me is happens to many times online. And I play only 2-4 hours online a day when I play.I can not say is rigged or not but I know when I have 80% on turn in a casino that the 80% are real 80%.
And yeah is true when you think you have bad players online on the table go to a casino the greatest donks are there. The different in the most times you win vs the donks.

Ive passed all the quizzes with better than 90% @ sitngo strategy.com ive also followed the free sitngo advice offered at sitngo planet. Not to mention the countless other games. I understand ROI and how to play tight at the beginning of tournaments and when to lossen up. I can fold a pair of QQ when four handed and someone shoves on the bubble of a sitngo and im 3rd in chips etc etc. Im not an idiot. Im not a pro but im not a fish neither. Ive tried harder over the last 365 days than at any other time playing online.

So because you passed a SNG quiz on some site you believe you are good enough to beat the games? It's not enough to be better than average, you have to have an edge greater than the rake to even be breakeven.
What you describe is the standard ABC s**t that you will read pretty much everywhere, but it's bulls**t. Especially vs. bad players there's nothing wrong with loosening up at the beginning already to take an early game edge, there's no need to stick to premiums only. If you're in the SB and a nitty reg is in the BB raise any2. And so on.
Folding QQ on the bubble as 3rd is rarely a good play, it'd have to be a super rare ICM scenario for this to be good (like you having 10BB and shortstack has maybe 0.5BB or so).
These tight ICM folds are from time SNGWizard was used by all SNG-gurus of the past, however that program had no future-play-calculations at all.
Maybe at $0.50 SNGs that 'content' you got from that site could work, but nowdays there are quite a few regs grinding $1.50s already and make a side income there, vs. them you will get murdered.
Blaming the site for being unsuccessful will get you nowhere, on any site, and you will have the same thing occuring on any site.

Remember busquet when he played on ept and got A2 shove against KK, player with KK flops full house K88, and busquet hit runner runner AA... What are chances, but it happends, as it happends online... What would say player with KK that live tournament is rigged??? Here is link of this situation

by the way he has less than 1% chance after flop, and he won I think at the end tournament

... Big Smile< Wow...! ...You'd make an excellent archaeologist the way you unearthed THIS dinosaur of a thread... Smile Thumbs Up Spade

... Big Smile< Actually I find PokerStars to be very solid in this manner... I almost never have a problem, and my ISP is some old backwoods redneck outfit way up here in the sticks...!!! Big Smile

... Big Smile< Now partypoker...? Whole other story.... It's just one big glitch with the occassional outbreak of poker... Not unlike any average small town across Canada where a hockey game breaks out occassionally amidst a beer brawl...!!! Big Smile

Really
Confused

Beware Pokerstars has a hidden camera in every house that has a stars account.

so they can keep an eye on every single player playing

so when you least expect it......Boom......you lose

the only way for players to avoid this is to move into an igloo

Beware Evil

They have the knowledge and are not afraid to use it,all the type of hustle(loosing river card with 1% chances to hit, disconnections in the betting moment) to put you in the tilt mode,to play angry and loose money.Nothing to do about it ,all the sites are rigged

Pokerstars is a tough site to play on sometimes especially the hyper turbos and spin and go's at times they can be like buying a lottery ticket all luck based and no amount of skill will save you in those games even with the premium starting hands they are appealing because they are quicker but tough at times to win money it all depends on your luck that day

ATTENTION ALL PLAYERS!

Not one site is rigged, YOU MUST BE REALLY SCHIZOPHRENIC If you think this.

I know a guy who makes apps and is very good with mathematics.
He says it's almost unmanageable, because there needs to be a lot of extra coding.

Sites have certified random number generators and will get huge fines/jail time for fraude (if they would do it).

Sites will lose all their customers if it will become official that they cheated, BUT THEY DIDN'T!

you pay rake

you lose money in their casino's

why would they make a software that cheats on you? that is NOT logical.

ONE TIP NEVER SMOKE WEED (not good for paranoid parrots)

NEVER USE DRUGS (not good for you schizophrenics)

SITES ARE NOT RIGGED YOU ARE SO SCHIZOPHRENIC FOR THINKING THAT!!!

No site is rigged!!! The world doesn't revolve around you, no one pays attention to you, why would you think some huge company pays attention to you, you are small, nothing!!!

Listen partner,

if sites want to make money, they should give everyone good odds who is low, so they will make more profit. (on rake)

They will only make profit if the money keeps going around between players.

So more hands more rake, why would they give you bad odds?
!!!!!!

If you come with stuff like a slotmachine is rigged, yeah that is logical, because they can take it in ones, with poker however it's different...

but they don't alter stats in poker, that is ridiculous !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Aww crap! Aww crap! Aww crap!

Its the same bad beats on every other site 888 poker free roll 3 times i noticed AA getting cracked by 2 face cards. Party Poker huge pot 4 pocket pairs i have AA lose on the river against KK. Iron poker micro stakes cash game target a loose player shove with AJ get called by A8 magic straight on the river it's all luck you can read as many books as you want to those 2 outers on the river will still happen.
