Has anyone else noticed, that the 500 Dollar Starburst tournament on 888Poker has changed since some days. It is now played as hyper turbe starting with 50 in the big blind and late registration is no longer possible for 30 minutes, but only for 20 minutes. Since the changes one can not open the tournament lobby, so can not see it but I tried it out.
I noticed a lot less players with the one at 7:00 am eastern time zone i played the early one today and late registered just before the bubble 1 hand played and was already ITM takes only 20 minutes too make the money. The 500 Starburst at 1:00 pm eastern time today is capped at 5000 entrants unusual since the previous ones normally 8000 people registered.

I played about 2 days ago but did not notice anything but I have noticed for a while that the field goes from 4/5000 to a few hundred very,very quickly so I doubt it makes much difference to the way the tournament goes.The promo finishes soon so people need to check the expiry dates on their tickets as a few of mine expire in a couple of days.

Yes I have also noticed that the registration was closed for the late one yesterday after 5000 players were in. It has been like that over a month ago about since then not and the early starburst today also was not capped.
